First look at Cap vs. Iron Man in Civil War concept art

:wow: Is this official? I like the extra red parts on Caps pants and Iron Man's suit looks more angular.

Cap's uniform is slightly modified in Civil War with a few alterations but not many. Which I like

Same here, Cap's uniform in AoU was perfect. I can't really see any difference in this one besides there being no red outline around the star. I kinda liked that.

Cap wins screen time presence again with the most , which begs the question why didn't he get second billing again to beginning?

Anyhow according to Vulture!

Captain America: 50:25. Captain America really is the Kevin Durant of superheroes: You know he's doing stuff, but you don't really comprehend just how much until you see his insane box score totals. For the second consecutive Avengers film, Captain America won the screen time race! And this time it isn't nearly as close, with Chris Evans beating Robert Downey Jr. by more than four minutes (compared to the 41 seconds that separated them last time). While they both equally spend a lot of time in Sokovia fighting baddies, we're betting at least a couple of those extra minutes were spent on Steve's awkward, super-long-winded Holocaust comment. Captain America also has the advantage of appearing in two of Scarlet Witch's hallucinations, both his and Iron Man's — and Cap scolds Iron Man in the latter one for letting them all down, which might just be a bit of Infinity War foreshadowing. Expect to see these two butt heads and share even more screen time in Captain America: Civil War next year.

‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Numbers Reveals Captain America Is The Most Popular Hero In Latest Marvel Movie [CHART]

With hundreds of thousands of tweets heralding the release of “Avengers: Age of Ultron” last weekend, who did audiences talk about the most? Just how much did they really like the new, big, bad Ultron? And who's the most popular Avenger?

The folks over at Synthesio tallied social media conversation from around the Internet from last Wednesday through Monday. Using data from professional media outlets, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube as well as international platforms like vKontakte, Maktub and Youku, the group has compiled a list of the most popular of Earth’s mightiest heroes and the villains they meet in the latest Marvel movie.

Here are a few of their latest findings:

Captain America (Chris Evans) was the favorite Avenger both worldwide and in the U.S., appearing in 18.7 percent of online conversation. The patriotic supersoldier was also the last Avenger to have a movie in theaters in 2014, “Captain America: Winter Soldier.” Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) was the second-ranking Avenger in social media presence both globally and domestically.

The theatre showings I've gone too, Have all had a lot of people sporting t-shirts featuring The Big 4 (Cap, Shell-head, Goldilocks & the jolly green giant)

Anyone else just not feeling Evans as cap this time around? Felt sort of detached from the character.

He felt different, but I think that was somewhat on purpose
he said at the end that maybe he was a different person than the guy who went in the ice

I think they're trying to tease out just a little bit of darkness in Cap, so that in CW, he doesn't seem fully good and IM doesn't seem fully bad

I thought he was just as good here as he was in Winter Soldier and I loved his authoritative presence in the last half of the movie.

I sure as heck did.

I have to say that the character I was looking forward to the most (Captain America) was written beyond one dimensionally. It really did feel like a huge step backwards from TWS. That's one of the big surprises I had.

It was to the point that it really did feel like two distinct characters.

Yeah, that joke was funny the first two times but it definitely overstayed its welcome.

I also kind of felt Evans didn't give the same level of performance due to the lack of material with depth he had to work with. I realize all the characters have to essentially be a "summarized" version of themselves to work in an ensemble but it could have been handled better with Rogers.

TWS gave us such a perfect iteration of Cap that Whedon's in AoU paled in every way.

Again, I felt he bordered in caricature at times.

It's not that I didn't enjoy Cap in this because I did. Like I said he was the character I was most looking forward to seeing, it's just really jarring seeing how differently this Cap was written in comparison to his TWS iteration.

He seemed too chipper in this. He's still my favorite, but I liked him best in TWS, where he was a guy you could be great friends with, as he was with Falcon, but he was also the guy that wouldn't stand for BS, like when he got pissed with Natasha, Sharon and Fury, and had no problem taking care of himself against impossible odds like in the elevator or at the bunker.

This chapter is more of Steve adapting to his role of leadership, of course Steve would be a little more chipper in nature because that the role he's most familiar with. He was created to be a super soldier in war, it's what define him.

Besides being a lot happier (makes sense, he's found his place) I didn't really see anything different from him.

Could you guys elaborate on why you "didn't feel" him? He was a lot more humorous and lighthearted this time, perhaps that's it? I liked it, as the movie on the whole is much more fun and lighthearted than TWS.

Plus I think it was also being around more trustworthy and like minded people like the Avengers this time around as opposed to SHIELD and their stressful methods and secrets and people who you'd definitely not call friends surrounding him. Dude was missing his old friends in TWS and having a hard time adapting to now, but I think being with the Avengers and the trusting relationships he built off of TWS with Black Widow and Falcon in particular really helped him out. He has friends again so he's more up. Wouldn't be surprised if he's more down for Civil War, simply because of the nature of the story.

AOU may be the last time we see a chippy Cap, because he's going to be depressed in CW (fighting his friends) then IW pt. 1 & 2 (fighting Thanos). I don't see him cracking any jokes after AOU.

Good.

The more subdued and natural humor that he used in TWS was perfection. Then again I consider TWS to be one of the best comic book/superhero movies period. It's up there with TDK, Spider-Man 2 and Iron Man for me. It was always going to be hard for Whedon to reach the level the Russo's were able to take Cap.

I'm really hoping the Russo's work even more magic with Rogers for the next three movies.

Yep. With the Russos and M&M back, Cap is in very good hands. By the end of Phase 3, we could be very well saying Cap is the Avenger who had it best.

I liked happy Cap because it fit the swashbuckling tone of AoU, but I can see why people missed TWS Cap's more sophisticated, mature personality.

Whedon does have a tendency to go overboard with the witty/cheesy one-liners and Cap was probably hurt most by it. I do think the actors have more fun with the role though. Hemsworth said he even asked Whedon to make Thor funnier (which he was!) and looser. I'd imagine Evans enjoyed it too, as Cap seemed a lot closer to Evans' real life personality.
