Hudgens, eh? Certainly looks the part but I haven't seen enough of her acting to really say how good of a fit she'd be. Still, I'd be down for seeing her in tight leather, that's for sure.

I need to see a little more of Kirby to be sold on her. I liked her in Mission Impossible but she was barely in that movie and I haven't seen her in anything else. Now Rebecca Ferguson...

I think Kirby could probably do it, and very well at that, provided she can do a convincing American accent. At least in the case of Ana de Armas, her accent is Cuban which would align with one of Selina's canonical backstories, I don't recall an instance where she was ever British.

However it'd be nice to see a more ethnically ambiguous iteration of Selina IMO, so names like Naomi Scott, Eiza Gonzalez, Vanessa Hudgens or Ana de Armas would all be really great. I especially like the idea of Naomi Scott in the role. She was a highlight in the 2017 Power Rangers film and it sounds like she steals the show as Princess Jasmine in the new Aladdin remake. I have a feeling she's about to breakout in a big way with this film, so it could be smart for DC to go for her.

Whether or not we get Hudgens in the role, im confident she would work. if not her, then my choice is definitely Ana De Armas. Either way, I trust in reeves with whoever he chooses

The idea of Hudgens as Catwoman doesn't exactly fill me with joy. She would be a pretty boring choice, and I don't think she has the range to play a good Selina.

Vanessa Kirby can do a pretty convincing American accent. See Jupiter Ascending. Can Ana do an American accent? I feel like her accent might be an obstacle since it's so heavy.

That being said, I do like the idea of an ethnically ambiguous Selina. I like Kane's choice of Inbar Levi, Vannesa Hudgens and Eiza Gonzalez. Naomi Scott uhhh I feel is a little too young. I don't want the age gap between Selina and Bruce to be more than 5 years

Though I like Vanessa Kirby, Ana De armas is my choice. I thought her accent was fine/wasn’t distracting in Blade Runner 2049.

Selina having a slight accent is fine, it only becomes a problem when it becomes distractingly obvious that English is not her native language. Now maybe Reeves is going for a take on the character who wasn't born in Gotham city, who knows I guess.

Whether or not Vanessa Hudgens has a lot of range (I'm not saying she doesn't, I have no idea), she'd be the best fit for Catwoman of any of the actresses that have portrayed her in the past.
