I haven't put a whole lot of thought into fancasting Catwoman, least of all in terms of Pattinson's age group. However, while I'd be cool with some of the fancasts like Ana de Armas or Naomi Scott, I'd rather see Jaimie Alexander than anyone I've seen mentioned lately.

I wouldn't hedge my bets on the actress playing Selina being older than Pattinson.

Lots of good names being thrown about. I'd be thrilled with any of these:

Vanessa Kirby
Jodie Comer
Lily James
Gugu Mbatha-Raw
Sylvia Hoeks
Eiza Gonzalez

Certainly wouldn't complain if Rebecca Ferguson or Emily Blunt were back in the mix as I'd love to see either of them in a CBM, but there are other roles I like them better for.

Blunt is only three years older than Pattinson and Ferguson is only 2. Bald Reeves wouldn't pass on them, IF they were his top choices.

Also, even though Pattinson is 33, there's a decent chance his Bruce Wayne might be late 20s as Pattinson can pass for that.

Lorenza Izzo is who I feel we're looking for



- Great actress with range (Knock Knock)
- 29
- Has Latin roots

I feel like she'd go really well with Pattinson

If I had to guess they're gonna use the same exact age range they did for casting Batman (25-33) since young Batman means young Catwoman.

Lily James, Ana de Armas, Eiza Gonzalez, Kaya Scodelario and Riley Keough are all likely choices and will probably end up in a shortlist

Scodelario is just a meh choice. Hell, if you are going for that same ''look'' at least Margaret Qualley is a better actress with better receipts.

I'm not huge on the idea of Riley Keough and if Armas can pull off an american accent or at the very least, tone down her natural one, that might be a determining factor for her

I say that based on how their careers are going compared to the actors that ended up frontrunners for Batman.
It somehow seems logical that at least Ana de Armas and Eiza Gonzalez are gonna be considered though.

I guess Qualley could pull off that classic femme fatale look. I've only seen her as a teenager in the Leftovers so I've got no idea on her range though

Yeah but she mainly was there to give the stage to Justin Theroux and Carrie Coon, and her character wasn't that complex. Is there any other thing she did I can check out?

Agree. Pfeiffer was 34 by the time of BR's release. Blunt would be 38 by the next Batman. Don't think that would work honestly, especially that we're talking about a franchise.

And we all know that if WB is doing a movie about The Trench they sure as hell are gonna consider making films about Selina. They probably want a young actress the same age Margot Robbie, Johannson, Gadot and Larson were when they were cast.

I don't think it's their ideal but I also don't think they're going to necessarily rule them out if they work in a screentest. I do think the actress is gonna ultimately be in late 20s though
