I've been thinking for a while that Catwoman will be one of the last roles cast because they'll want Pattinson to screen-test with the actress prior to being selected. He's been so busy shooting 'Tenet' and now doing press for 'The Lighthouse' that I can't imagine he's had time to do it since being cast. Do you think they'll narrow it to 2 or 3 actresses then have each screen-test with Pattinson?

I sometimes feel like insiders are just throwing around names with no actual knowledge b/c I don't think Janelle Monae would go for a role like Catwoman. I could see her going for a genderbent character or an actual superheorine.

That's how it usually is with chemistry reads, idk how far they'll narrow it down to but 5 maybe 6 actresses or less is the guess.

It's almost a shame Rihanna can't act, though, as out of all the black actresses mentioned thus far, she bears the closest resemblance to Selina. She's got those eyes!

Someone here kept fancasting Adria Arjona. Well, a dude commented on her image "Play Catwoman" and she liked that comment. At least she likes the idea.

Samara Weaving would not just be a great pick but an awesome pick. Not to mention coming from acting royalty being the niece of Hugo Weaving...let's just say acting runs in that family and she's a damn capable actress in her own right certainly becoming a big star on the rise and with a role like Catwoman, it would be perfect for her.

She seems to be affecting an American accent in the latest Knives Out trailer (you can hear her for just the briefest of seconds.) It's not bad at all.

If Reeves is looking for a biracial actress to play Selina Kyle/Catwoman then Rihanna definitely would be considered but then also Zoe Kravitz would have to be considered as well but then who else?

I think they are going for a relatively unknown actress like Ella Balinska (Charlie's Angels 2019).
