Yeah I'd be shocked if Ana de Armas isn't a finalist at this point. What will be interesting to see is what are the other finalists.

So who fits the profile?

- Woman of color
- Early to mid 30's
- A-list

Gugu immediately comes to mind.

Her and Zoe but those are boring choices for me. I don't see Selina's "spark" (for lack of a better word) in either of them.
My favorite is Sonoya. She's not yet an A list (but I doubt the person they'll cast will be considering the lack of woc in the industry, anyway) but she was in interesting projects plus she's a dancer.

Gugu is out of the age range. I wouldn't be surprised if Reeves still wanted Zoe Kravitz but Sonoya is still one of the best choices imo.

She checks off all them boxes, except for that A list thing, but she is a well known name now after Aladdin.

Yeah, Ana de Armas, Naomi Scott, Rosa Salazar, Zoe Kravitz, Janelle Monae all sound like plausible contenders for the role, based on Kroll’s comments.

Hopefully we’ll hear more specifics on the matter soon!

Whoever they cast, they need to have a playful energy to them. Catwoman enjoys the thrill of everything. I don't need anyone super serious. While one would expect this from any actor, some can be rather limited with their range.
