This is awesome! Well done Greenlite and thank you for the updates! It's been tough with my work schedule lately to log on at certain times so it's very helpful to see updates and what not! I still don't understand twitters interface and just have been retweeting some things but FB I've been sharing quite a bit. Good stuff guys. As long as this can maybe get to Henry himself, that's all that could possibly matter! \S/

Haven't had a chance to post my thoughts here as well.

There is no doubt in my mind that Henry Cavill deserves to star in another solo outing as Superman.

I think it's very telling that despite the backlash and controversy surrounding "Justice League", that Cavill was still able to deliver a performance that grabbed the attention of a lot of people.

This is no different from when people raved about Gal's performance as Wonder Woman in "BvS", where she stood out despite the critical reception of the film. With the momentum that she gained from her reception in BvS, she was able to legitimize Wonder Woman as the next big franchise when she was paired up with Patty Jenkins in her own solo outing. This would no different if Cavill was given the same opportunity.

A lot of people see the potential within Cavill and recognize that if he was given a great story and the right director attached to it that he will be fully capable of taking Superman's character to higher grounds.

We are now at a point where the foundation of the established trinity of the DC Universe is about to be shaken with Ben Affleck's potential exit from the franchise. A franchise as big as this cannot rely on just one actor and character (Gal/Wonder Woman) to carry it. This is the time where Warner Bros needs to solidify Superman as a legitimate pillar to help solidify the foundations of this universe, especially if they plan on giving it a bold new direction and I can't think of anyone else but Henry who is perfect to play the iconic man of steel for this generation.

Well said herolee, I totally agree with you and I'm not drunk =P

No problem Tra-El! I thought I was posting to myself for a few days there, but that's not the case =P Thanks for all your hard work too! It's hard taking time out to do this kind of stuff =) and you reminded us the goal of the movement too, which I should have set out at the start,

1) Reach out to HC to support him and let him know how much we appreciate his work, via various media outlets, petition, and online activities

2) Get the support and responses from some of the cast/crew, alongside the media outlets/online noises to let WB hear our voices and take it into consideration when deciding DC/Superman's future on film, and not just hearing the "blow it up" section of fandom. After all, they WERE going to announce MOS in Jan 2018.

3) Make MOS2 happen with HC, a quality director, non-studio meddling, and let the world see THAT ring used properly and show us THAT wedding!

But we can't control what the execs think, but at least 1) is what we can try to achieve, more with a bit of luck, and praying!

PS that's what I had in mind anyway, chime in if fans have more...

Just read on twitter, apparently a fan at Ace Comic Con asked Henry Cavill about MoS2 and he said "I'm working on it" or something like that.

Seen a couple of tweets saying this, so crossing fingers here.

I saw that on twitter too. It's tough to be optimistic. I'm trying.

Well said.

I don't think I can believe anything anyone associated with WB/DC anymore.

I saw this

https://***********/JesabelRaay/status/939615141284397056

Henry Cavill has admitted to working hard on the sequel to MAN OF STEEL. Amy Adams has also confirmed that a script is in early development.

It might be awhile until we hear any more concrete information but the
point is... MAN OF STEEL II is happening. #Superman

Let's stay optimistic but realistic at the same time :yay:

That is good to hear. Hope this means that will get Warner Bros attention. I guess they don't look at message forums.

Never been this jealous of fans in all...my life lmao!

Amy Adams is working on a movie with Gal Gadot and Isla Fisher with Amy as Producer.

Here's an idea, get Amy Adams as Producer on MoS 2, she has enough clout to get that movie green-lit, also make Henry as an Executive producer.

That could be one way of negotiation :yay:

perfect!!! so how to tell Amy Adams?

Cavill is Supes. He just is. I absolutely believe in him to carry the mantle of the character forward despite all this adversity. I hope the general audience and WB feels the same way.
