Caps definitely stronger than normal, but no where near that level.
He's got enough power, knowledge and skill to hold his own against Stark.
Besides, I gather that the story Rhodey told, may have been a bit of a humorous embellishment.

This is the best movie I have never seen. I don't even care that I am spoiled, it sounds epic.

Ditto to infinity. Once I decided to be spoiled, I felt such relief

The final throwdown is going to kill me.

If you haven't seen, the film. Just wait and judge for yourself.
The fight works very well.
And the emotion.
Raw emotion sells the heck out of this.

No, he doesn't. And the War Machine thing is canon. It was shown in the comic tie-in that takes place in the movieverse. It's epic jobbing to have Rogers not get casually ripped limb from limb by Stark.

By that logic, Thor should have torn Stark limb from limb in the first avengers film.
That armor wasn't holding up so well.
Cap would routinely fight guys like Hyde in the comics.

Why is that whenever someone doesn't like the on-screen version of a character, they think the "real" version is out there?

I don't "think" and/or never said (or implied) that the "real" Hawkeye is out there. I simply suggested a possible way to "fix" the movie version of Hawkeye. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's mandarin all over again. Sure the one-shot said there was a real mandarin but the chances of us seeing him are slim to none.

And you know this how?

It all comes to a full circle...

The Leipzig screwjob.

That's not it. It's a long fight and we see some of the brutality in the trailers. When Bucky tries to rip out his reactor Tony blows his arm off and he's down.

As the fight continues Friday tells Tony that close hand to hand combat in this enclosed area is playing into Steve's strengths (we can see this in Steve's speed and his use of the shield to deflect the repulsors and to smash the armor) and Tony asks Friday to analyze Steve's fight patterns which she does and the tide begins to turn before it turns back the other way even as Steve is badly beaten because it's Steve and he won't give up or stay down (which is his biggest super power)

Friday is back?:awesome: Btw that all sounds sick!!

All that sounds stupid. He should have just grabbed the shield and shoved it up Roger's ass using a tiny fraction of his strength.

1. Steve is far too agile and fast for him to do that
2. Tony doesn't want to murder Steve. Steve is in the way from his killing Bucky which is why he gives him a warning to stay down but Steve won't stay down.

How long is Giant Man on screen? Does Lang or anyine say anything before he goes giant?

And Thor should have ripped Iron Man's armour with his bare hands in the first Avengers. In fact, that fight makes even less sense given that Thor is also a better fighter than Tony.

It's no use.
Sounds like the movie is ruined for him.
Some folk get too caught up in "power/strength" levels.
Much like in comics, you can't just use that as a hard and fast rule for character interactions. Otherwise people like hulk or Thor, or, yes, ironman would tear through people like tissue paper by simply shaking their hands. There would have been no romance between hulk and widow, because she would have been pizza against the wall of the helicarrier in Avengers 1. (After he swats at her.)
Spiderman should have killed Doc Ock several times over the years with his punches.
Because 10 tons, yo.
That Spiderman 2 movie was dumb. Woulda been better if Alfred Molina's head popped off when Tobey hit him.
Hardkore.

Continually amazed people are mad that a movie with "Captain America" in the title has Captain America not losing or getting killed by other characters.

Go complain on Comicvine if you aren't satisfied with the outcome of certain battles, it's not like you can change it.

Now apologies if anyone has already answered this but I read through the whole forum and couldn't find the answer.
Would anyone be able to give a breakdown of the film from start to end? Nothing too details. Just the major plot points in a row. Thanks
