The Clinton Thread II

Anyone see that Hillary "Getting Started" video on Youtube? It's like they fit every stereotypical Democratic demographic in there. An engaged gay couple, a man speaking Spanish, an Asian grad student, a biracial couple, a lesbian couple...

I demand the Republican equivalent! Make it happen, Ted Cruz.

It would just be a bunch of white males of varying ages in various corporate careers, and it would end with the now well known "Cruz Kiss"

Now that Clinton is officially running for 2016 how much more do y'all think Fox News and the GOP are going to bring up Benghazi? Cause I'm thinking Fox is just going to go full tilt and create a new hour long program called "The Benghazi Hour". They will play clips of the attack and highlights from the 999 million other times the story was featured on Fox News.

"I'm a mother of four, and gay marriage is going to destroy my family, somehow."

"I don't know a single Latino person, but am still very afraid that immigration reform is going to bring down America."

"I'm a responsible gun owner, but at the smallest hint of any minor regulation on my second amendment rights, I'm going to threaten government officials with weapons. I'm also against terrorism."

"I am an American consumer who buys everything at Wal Mart, and I'm worried that all US manufacturing jobs are disappearing."

"I'm a young hedge fund manager in New York, and my life is pretty ****ing awesome. But to make sure my life keeps being ****ing awesome, I need the most ignorant people in the country to vote against their better interests."

Frankly, if people are gonna keep prioritizing gay marriage over their own food and welfare, I'd like to see everyone stop giving a **** about their whining.

I dont think it really matters at this point. They have ran with that story for 3 years and no one outside of conservatives care. Now that an official report has come out saying Clinton had no knowledge of the attack and didn't cover anything up it will have even less traction

I would like the questions answered, I don't know that we will ever get those answers....but it would be nice.

I don't really care about the questions like, where was the President, where was the Sec. of State, etc. But I would like to know what information they were given, where it came from, and who gave the actual "stand down" order. Those answers would be nice, but I don't know that it needs to be brought up every time Hillary's name is mentioned.

IMO, when she talks about her time as Sec. of State getting her ready for the job of President, simply ask her how? what specifics of her job make her ready to be President, what were the major diplomacy initiatives did she develop? etc... just like you would ask any candidate as to why their particular job, experience, etc....makes them the candidate to choose for President.

I would REALLY like to hear that answer from someone, because at this juncture in my political voting life, I'm not sure that anyone, other than a Governor, can give me a sufficient answer to that question.

I will NEVER vote for Ted Cruz, I don't care if I agreed with 100% of his platform mainly because to me he is simply the other side of the same coin. He's a lawyer, with little experience except Senator, and Obama was a lawyer with little experience except Senator. Not falling for that one again....

Also, both born outside the USA. :o

Well that picture is going to give me nightmares.

I woke up this morning thinking, "you know, even at the age of 40, I don't think I've thought this through. Maybe I should do a complete 180 and give heterosexuality a chance."

Then I saw that photo and BOOM it brought me right back. Thanks a lot, Marvolo!

Why would she pump her own gas, when she hasn't driven a car in about oooooh, 15 years? Hell, I wouldn't pump the gas for the car I'm not driving either...

Good point and there are better, more important ****s to be given. However, I'd much rather have a candidate who was a normal person ya know, drive themselves around, own car, no secret service instead of someone who's been in Washington far too long becoming part of the elite political class.

I don't get the attraction to having a "normal person" as President. The closest thing we have had to that in the last century was Carter and that was a disaster.

Well, as I stated before, I'm looking at Governors this time around, NOT including my state's ex-governor. :whatever:

Well, a person who gets secret service, gets chauffeured around in a sense. Do you really think she's in touch with the people?

I don't think anyone running for President is in touch with the average person. I do think her policies would benefit the average person more than any Republican currently running however.

I believe a dead Ross Perot could benefit the average person more than any Republican ever this generation.

Did anyone think she pumped her own gas? Or drove her own car, or cooked her own food for that matter.

At least she isn't attempting to seem pleb-like like Bush did by buying that ranch a month before his announced his presidency. Even sadder when you learn that Bush is scared of horses.

I remember I was shocked when they took a photo of Mitt Romney pumping his own gas.
