So, I've decided to value the majority's input as to whether or not to erase Blacklight's existence from fellow PCs he's interacted with, and if you guys want the events of the invasion to remain as is, I have no right to change it. When it comes down to it, it did affect some players' characters and I have no right to undo the character growth such an event resulted in.

I've decided that I'm strictly just going to alter his NPCs memories as well as his own. Outside of that, you're all free to acknowledge the event as if it still happened the same way. Death and all.

Origin Info/Details: Dr. Ethan Logan was born in the suburbs of New York during the 1950s to a loving house hold. He was marked as a child prodigy early on in life, and was accepted into the top medical school in the country at the age of 16, where he studied psychology, mental illness, as well as surgery and the inner workings of the human brain.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]While his parents and people around him celebrated his great accomplishments, they ignored the boy’s obvious disinterest in humanity. The only thing he ever cared for was watching people and recording how they acted, and how emotions affected their actions. He never made friends, calling other children “subjects”. Not to mention others being terrified of him. He also often talked of the “Id” part of the human brain, and how fascinating it was to see someone revert back to their primal states and instincts.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Little did anyone know that as he grew older, his telepathic abilities came to light, and he began to learn how to control them. Ethan kept his early experiments to merely giving other children frightening illusions are controlling their emotions so as to not draw more attention to himself than he desired.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]As he left for college, his experiments widened. He learned to control people through fear and emotions during psychological evaluations in class. He also realized that he was able to keep control of them using his mind even after the sessions.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]After keeping a certain “subject” for a prolonged period of time in frightened submission, the said subject’s mind shattered to irreparable state. However, with his immense knowledge of the “Id”, Logan, now calling himself Dr. Pathos to his followers, was still able to control the human. Using his great knowledge of surgery and the brain, he was able to manipulate the nerve used to control the body’s adrenaline, turning the insane man into an attack-dog on a constant adrenaline high.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]It was during the Arlaaekean invasion that Pathos first took notice of the new heroes that have begun to populate the planet. And after the invasion it was those same heroes that made him decide to move to Lost Haven, which is the center of the new hero uprising.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]He now owns a “mental health center” in the city where he finds his victims. The large hospital building is now full of permanent “patients” that are under the complete control of Pathos.[/FONT]

Powers (Be Specific): Ethan is a telepath, and one of, if not the, most powerful ones on earth. But rather than using his power to help people, he has decided to study the human brain and it’s reactions to prolonged emotional trauma. Through his experiments, he has learned how to control those which he has ensnared in his trap. He has the normal telepath powers of mind reading and stuff like that, but also is a powerful mind projectionist. Basically he can make people see what he wants them to see.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]He has the ability to peer into people’s minds and show them their greatest fears, greatest triumphs, deepest sorrows, and ecstasy. Through these hallucinations and control of their feelings, he can control those around him, and make them do his bidding. While this is a powerful ability, it also has a drawback. After a prolongued state of being controlled in this fashion, a victim will eventually lose their mind. [/FONT]

The sea nymph Thetis was once the object of affection for Zeus and his brother Poseidon. However, when it was prophesied that Thetis would bear a son greater than his father, the gods withdrew from their pursuit. Thetis was married to King Peleus of the Myrmidons, and she bore Achilles by him.

Achilles won great fame and favor with the gods for his accomplishments on the battlefield. Undefeated in combat, he was so feared by his enemies that they thought him a demigod. It was said that Thetis dipped the infant Achilles in the river Styx up to his heels, making him invulnerable. None could match Achilles in combat.

Achilles led the Myrmidons into the Trojan War along with the other great Greek city-states. However, Achilles became upset with Agamemnon, the commander of the Greek forces. The subject of their disagreement was Briseis, a princess that Achilles had claimed as a battle prize and slave, with whom he had also fallen in love. Achilles refused to fight for the Greeks and made preparations to leave Troy.

Meanwhile, Achilles' student and close friend, Patroclus, donned his mentor's armor and led the Greeks into battle. Hector of Troy, thinking Patroclus to be Achilles, killed the boy. Upon hearing this, Achilles returned to battle, angrily seeking out a fight with Hector. After some intervention from the gods, Achilles was granted his revenge, brutally slaying Hector in one-on-one combat.

During the sacking of Troy, Hector's younger brother, Paris, cowardly hit in the bushes with a poisoned arrow. He shot Achilles in the heel from behind, killing him without honor. The Greeks went on to win the war, honoring Achilles with a hero's funeral, before returning home to Greece.

Thousands of years later, Aron Charles was born by the sea in northern Maine. He lived a relatively unexciting life, which didn't bother him any. He moved to Lost Haven and became a firefighter. Eventually, he ended up leaving the firehouse and taking a job as an independent mechanic.

Athena and Ares, specifically, will be close to Achilles - especially early on. Aron is still close with the guys from the firehouse - including Patrick Willis, his best friend.

See you tomorrow. Goodbye." I hang up the phone and set it down above the sink. I grab a white towel and dry off my hands.

Once my hands are dry, I grab a notepad. Mr. Thomas pick up tomorrow. I leave the notepad on the counter where I'll see it. It's been really nice being my own boss. My dad and I used to fix up cars in the driveway all the time, so it was always something of a dream of mine to do it for a living. Well, it took a few years of saving, but I was finally able to afford this apartment and the garage underneath.

I take out my phone and dial up Pat.

"Pat, it's Aron. You want to come over to watch the game tonight?"

Achilles won great fame and favor with the gods for his accomplishments on the battlefield. Undefeated in combat, he was so feared by his enemies that they thought him a demigod. It was said that Thetis dipped the infant Achilles in the river Styx up to his heels, making him invulnerable. None could match Achilles in combat.

Achilles led the Myrmidons into the Trojan War along with the other great Greek city-states. However, Achilles became upset with Agamemnon, the commander of the Greek forces. The subject of their disagreement was Briseis, a princess that Achilles had claimed as a battle prize and slave, with whom he had also fallen in love. Achilles refused to fight for the Greeks and made preparations to leave Troy.

Meanwhile, Achilles' student and close friend, Patroclus, donned his mentor's armor and led the Greeks into battle. Hector of Troy, thinking Patroclus to be Achilles, killed the boy. Upon hearing this, Achilles returned to battle, angrily seeking out a fight with Hector. After some intervention from the gods, Achilles was granted his revenge, brutally slaying Hector in one-on-one combat.

During the sacking of Troy, Hector's younger brother, Paris, cowardly hit in the bushes with a poisoned arrow. He shot Achilles in the heel from behind, killing him without honor. The Greeks went on to win the war, honoring Achilles with a hero's funeral, before returning home to Greece.

Thousands of years later, Aron Charles was born by the sea in northern Maine. He lived a relatively unexciting life, which didn't bother him any. He moved to Lost Haven and became a firefighter. Eventually, he ended up leaving the firehouse and taking a job as an independent mechanic.

Athena and Ares, specifically, will be close to Achilles - especially early on. Aron is still close with the guys from the firehouse - including Patrick Willis, his best friend.

[/FONT]"Yes, Mr. Thomas, you can pick you car up anytime tomorrow," I explain while running my hands under the tap. I try to rub the grease off, but it's caked on pretty heavy. "Alright, Mr. Thomas. See you tomorrow. Goodbye." I hang up the phone and set it down above the sink. I grab a white towel and dry off my hands.​

Once my hands are dry, I grab a notepad. Mr. Thomas pick up tomorrow. I leave the notepad on the counter where I'll see it. It's been really nice being my own boss. My dad and I used to fix up cars in the driveway all the time, so it was always something of a dream of mine to do it for a living. Well, it took a few years of saving, but I was finally able to afford this apartment and the garage underneath.​

I take out my phone and dial up Pat.​

[FONT=&quot] Origin Info/Details:[/FONT] Born to a military family in 1976, Edward Cayce had a regular childhood on a military base in Nevada. Edward was nearly thirty years old when tragedy struck. After having numerous seizures, doctors diagnosed Edward with brain cancer. A benign tumor had slowly formed in the center of his brain. Inoperable, doctors speculated that the tumor had been there since Edward was a toddler. It had never impeded his brain functions until now. Even more amazing was the way his brain was adapting to the tumor. Edward's brain synapses were bypassing the tumor and operating in parts of the brain rarely used by humans.

The side effects of his brain's new path soon became apparent. It was sitting in the hospital that he had his first psychic vision. He saw a man walking into the hospital ER and shooting a doctor. Confused and uncertain about what he had saw, he began to scream for help and was believed to be insane after he told doctors and nurses of his vision. The doctor's were in the process of having Edward committed when his vision came true. A man, angry that his wife had died in surgery, had walked into the ER and killed his wife's doctor. The staff was dumbfounded by the discovery and the story made the national news. Even though doctors begged him to stay, Edward left the hospital and moved to Lost Haven, hoping to hide in the large crowds and relative anonymity. Even though he was trying be a recluse, his visions had other plans. Another one came to him shortly after arriving in Lost Haven. He saw a girl kidnapped from her home. He went to the LHPD and Detective Nick Pierce. The story Edward told fit the case of Jessica Carter, an eight-year-old who had been kidnapped twelve hours earlier. Pierce, one of the few people who believed him, took Edward up on his offer to assist in the investigation. Together the two men tracked her down and managed to arrest her kidnapper. The papers had a field day with the news that a psychic had actually managed to help a case. The LHPD saw the upside of Edward and his powers and made him a consultant to LHPD's Major Case Squad, an elite unit that handles some of the cities most high profile and unusual crimes.

Also, I've been wanting to get back into CAH, but I couldn't find a character I wanted to play. Most of the folks I created her I'm play slight versions of them in other RPGs. So this is a chance for me to join in on CAH playing a new character with a new twist and hopefully it'll give me a chance to have fun and keep this dude.

"You getting anything yet?" Nick asks as he lifts the crime scene tape over my head and I walk under it.

"Just got here, haven't seen a body yet."

Pierce leads me up the alley to a tarp covered body.

CSI techs are all over the crime scene, snapping photos and collecting evidence. Piece stands over the tarp and pulls it back, revealing a woman underneath. Her body is gray and lifeless, bruises and ligature marks form a perfect circle around her neck.

I bend down and remove the leather glove on my right hand. The buzz is already starting to fill my ears. It's like magnetism. The body is drawing my hand to it. I place my hand on the victim's shoulder and give in.

The killer walks down the alley arm in arm with the girl. Amy, her name is Amy. I know that because the killer knows that. I can see Amy's face as plain as day, but not the killer's. I'm seeing the crime through his eyes. I am the killer.

"Where are we doing here?" She asks with a giggle.

"We're just going for a stroll," I reply with a wink. "It's just a lovely night out here, thought we could take the scenic route home."

"Why? So we walk down some dark and spooky alley?"

"Well, it's okay. I'm here to protect you."

She goes in for a hug and I go in for the kill. I move fast, wrapping my hands around her throat and pushing her up against the wall. She fights, she struggles. It's not enough. Even when her fingernails scratch my face and break the skin, the pain is fleeting. The rush overpowers it. That adrenaline spike pushes me past any kind of human desires or weaknesses.

There's just the need to kill his *****.

"Die, *****! DIE! DIE!"

I pull my hands off the body and break the connection. Pierce and the other officers stare at me. Even though it's thirty degrees, I'm sweating. I quickly put my glove back on and stand up on wobbly legs.

"He-he knew her. They were either lovers or friends. The girl's name is Amy. She lives nearby, her and the killer were on the way home. There's DNA under her fingernails, she scratched him as he strangled her. It wasn't a crime of passion. He wanted to do this, he'd been planning it a long time."

"Thanks for the help, Ed," Pierce says with a pat on the shoulder. "If we can identify the girl, that makes the job almost done."

I wipe my forehead and look at the cold sweat on my gloved hands.

"Sure, Nick," I say with a distant tone to my voice. "Happy to help."

I mean, I was just figuring that having Achilles wear more traditional armor would set him apart. If you can do it in a way that makes Achilles and Cerberus look different enough, go for it. Though I wouldn't go too far with the spandex because he's not necessarily a "superhero" in the traditional sense.
