The CW's Nikita

The pilot was good. I really liked it. Apparently it did 3.6 million for the pilot, which is good for CW, it even topped one of their higher rated shows in Vampire Diaries, which had 3.3, so it built on it's lead in. Always a good thing.

I honestly don't think size is that much of an issue. Sure it helps to be a hulking figure when you're trying to intimidate someone but it's not necessary. If you're trained really well in martial arts and you know all the pressure points then I think it's easily believable that someone the size of Maggie Q could take someone down.

Really good second ep, but not enough to convince me to pick it over Fringe though.

I haven't been thrilled with this show like I was hoping I would be and personally I find Maggie Q to be rather dull. I suppose she is great for the martial arts action but for the acting, she really needs to improve.(IMO)

This show could be very promising if it had better writing and fighting that looks real, imo. And also...this show does not seem like it has any sense of humor. That's kinda lame. Even the most series show on television could have some humor within it.

Damn missed the second episode due to last seasons finale of "Fringe"

why are we comparing it to Fringe

Stan Lee just had a cameo as a tv witness, and his name was Hank Excelsior.

:o

That cameo was definitely a doubletake from me. I didn't even recognize Devon Sawa.

This is my guilty pleasure show.

Nothing about this show is good, but it's so earnest for you to like it.

Get rid of that green-eyed chick. She's annoying as hell.

Anybody watching this? Finally a half decent action show that isn't all scifi! Not that there is anything wrong with scifi I just haven't seen a good real action show in a long time. Maggie Q is awesome as well.

Stan "The Man" Lee made a brief appearance last night too. He was on a news interview as a witness to some street violence. I forget exactly what the first name they gave him was but he was being interviewed and underneath him it said something like witness - Jack Excelsior, LOL.

I'm trying to decide what's more random about last night's episode, the Stan Lee Cameo, or the fact that Devon Sawa's working again!!! Final Destination should have really put him on the map, and everyone else's careers took off moreso than his!

I watched the pilot. It seems a bit serious and reminds me of Alias, but isn't bad so far. It's better than La Femme Nikita, that's for sure. I'll have to watch a few more episodes to make up my mind whether this is something I want to keep watching.

watching epi 5 now.... just had to clean my screen after seeing Stan Lee pop up.... complete shock to see him there LOL

This is probabyl the 2nd best episode of the season. Nice to see someone on Nikitas fighting level and full of cameos! Bianca Lawson, Stan Lee, Devon, Blue SPD Power Ranger..

If Lyndsy Fonseca isn't naked in a movie sometime in the next year I'm gonna be very upset. I'm still mad that she wasn't naked in neither Hot Tub Time Machine or Kick-Ass.

LOL. Yeah, that was awesome!

Agreed. It's amazing how McG makes better TV shows than movies. He has this, Chuck, and Supernatural. Dude's on a roll.

I loved the original. I was skeptical about this one, until I saw the hottie starring in it. I will definitely check it out next time.

I haven't watched this, has the CW cancelled yet?

I'm glad to see next weeks will see a shift in the formula, the stuff with Nikita and Alex IM'ing while Nikita sat in a loft that looked like it was from a GQ shoot was getting tired, not to mention stretching suspension of disbelief beyond the limit.

it is surprising that they are doing that...you'd think a group like Division would be monitoring EVERYTHING that happens on their computers
