The CW's Nikita

I hope that the show continues for a few more seasons, maggie's still the hotness.. what's the dynamic for this season, does she have a partner?

Apparently the ratings for this and Supernatural were pretty bad. Which is a shame.

Would it help if they were on a different channel? Just seems out side of smallville shows don't last long on CW. Unless they are teen led dramas starring huge cross over talent.

and smallville was saved by the miracle that was season 8(season long villain)

Supernatural lasted 6 seasons because it had Smallville as a lead-in. Now it has Nikita and it dropped in the ratings. Nikita had Vampire Diaries as a lead-in last year. Now it's flying solo and dropped in the ratings. So, the solution is to find a new time slot.

I think Maggie is much sexier, but anyway, here's promo pics of both Ladies for season 2.

I think Maggie Is sexier.I mean the dress she wore In casino was so sexy.Plus she got
to wear black lacy bra and panties. However I think Lyndsy came off as sexier in first episode than In all of season 1.I just like her better as pursher of Nikita.

As for ratings it Is doing like Supernatural normal CW ratings.Smallville could go on any
night and get decent ratings. The CW was always going to suffer without It.The Vampire Diaries Is the closest thing that can take Smallville's place. So all Is not lost.Nikita will
make it till end of season, and the CW did order an extra episode so we have 22 more episodes of Nikita at the very least to enjoy.I'd rather watch Nikita than Charlie's Angels.

What might save Nikita this year is the same thing that saved it last year -- the international market.

Unless theCW plans on canning all of its show, I wouldnt worry about Nikita when as of right now it is the 3rd highest rated show on the network

Nikita doesn't have to outrun the cancellation bear. It just has to outrun the other shows.

So, even with the decline in ratings, it's still #3. The CW is in worse shape than I thought.

While I think Lyndsy is very hot (still remember her from Kick Ass), I'd give Maggie an edge because she has an unbelievable body, and I just love sexy Asian chicks. I'm also very happy for her success, having watched her Hong Kong movies before she's making it big here in U.S. It's great that Hollywood would give Chinese actress like her a chance to prove her talent (yes, I know she's actually half Chinese/Caucasian).

So damn happy this is available for streaming on Netflix! I just added it to my Instant Queue! :)

Season 1 re-watch, here I come!

I know we always talk about the hottness factor...but looks aside. This is a dang good show.

The one funny thing is that rival company..gogle or something like that. I can't help but think Google everytime.

Google is really expanding :P

Another quality episode this week, the show has really grown, it's a shame the ratings suck, I think it could do well in Fox "24 slot".

Friday's episode was the best since Nikita escaped Division back in season one. However, this episode seemed a bit too early. A lot of s--t went down. This episode seemed like the one they would air in December before the holiday hiatus. They better have something EPIC planned for the big mid-season episode.

I definitely agree. Between Berkhoff's safe house being compromised, and Nikita telling Michael about Max, I'm actually kind of surprised they didn't drag out that latter subplot till the end of the season altogether.

But yeah, the show is really starting to hit its stride, and I'm loving the interactions between Percy and Alex. Little by little, Percy's gonna leverage his way out of incarceration altogether at some point. The previous episode of him getting his suit and saying, "It's a start.", that was just awesome.

^^^ The use of Percy this season has been stellar with great acting from Xander Berkeley.

Sometimes these shows drag plots out too long, I like that things move foirward constantly on Nikita, of course the writers may also be moving at this pace as they don't think they'll get a season 3.

Well, it already has a full order for season two, and I think CW is genuinely invested in the show, 'cause apparently it does well in foreign markets. But I agree, it needs to really pull in some bigger numbers before the winter break.

The show being on Netflix and Hulu might help it since it'll give people a chance to catch up. Like Hunter Rider said, this show moves pretty quickly, which is great, but it makes it difficult for new AND returning viewers. For example, last year, I remember many people complaining during the season's first-half when Alex was a trainee at Division. Many of them stopped watching. If those folks decide to come back, they'll be completely lost. This show has only aired 28 episodes, and yet, it feels like 48.

I don't expect the show's ratings to rise over-night because it isn't the type of show that people can jump right into. The best bet is the holiday hiatus. The show has been on Netflix (and soon Hulu) for a week or two now. Hopefully, people are checking it out. Then, in December, they can catch up with season two's first half.

CW will wait till January/February to evaluate the show's success.
