Is anyone else avoiding the new trailers, clips, etc.? I'm trying to go in with as much fresh eyes as possible.

If 'Superman' ends being both a critical and financial success, I would personally want the next installment to be a direct sequel that involves both Superman and Supergirl going up against Brainiac.

Plus, I'm a little reluctant to see Superman share the screen with Batman again since history has shown that filmmakers will always favor Batman over him (e.g., BvS, JL, DCAU, Injustice).

Respectfully. I know a gal like that and she doesn’t know to use a weapon and sorts. Having said that! All I need is a line tis’ all, a throw away one. Minor nitpick I know. I honestly didn’t even know that was part of her character, so good to know. At the same time, I would not believe for one minute the Amy Adams version/Kidder/from what I seen the sexy Hatcher could get behind a chopper or any type of plane. I don’t need a ‘’He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was researching spiders… right before she died.” But give me something. Lawd.

I get your point, but I kinda disagree! If this first movie’s good, a lot of people will come back just for Superman — that wasn’t the case with Man of Steel, so they had to throw Batman into the mix. Different context.

Stil I'm with you, I'd prefer a solo Superman sequel.

One of the few I wasn't a fan of either. But that baby is so hilarious. Know damn well there's gonna be a ridiculous ass close up of Superman goo-goo ga-ga-ing this lil slime ball.

Respectfully Superman isn't the real world. People are already suspending disbelief. A couple lines of exposition is all these movies ever need because it's fantastical

I know engineers they can't make Iron Man suits.

To be serious for a second the other versions on film never mentioned Sam Lane because it was immaterial to the story. (TV and cartoons did) Pretty obvious that will be part of this one. As long as they mention her past and "hang a lantern on it" (no pun intended) it should go over fine. Gunn is a nerd he will love to reference it im sure

I got in idea that would be an original movie for live action and it would actually include movies that is supposedly in development for DC.

Instead of Worlds Finest what about Public Enemies. Superman and Batman are the stars. They are being hunted by the Authority. Then you bring in Bane, Metallo, Slade Wilson, and Hank Henshaw to back up the Engineer’s group. Of course that is not enough to beat Supes and Bats so they call in some heroes. Namely Wonder Woman and the Martian Manhunter.

Supes/Bats vs Diane/J’onn sign me up!!!!

Yeah, me. First full trailer was the cut off point for me. I will also be avoiding any soundtrack previews like the pest.

The stills from EW and future posters will do the job for me until July. And aside from that, I'm just rereading comics, and rewatching Superman TAS, Justice League and Young Justice eps.

You know, you may be on to something there. I have a hard time believing he would want to go directly into a world's finest movie but something like a superman and Supergirl team up with brainiac as the villain would qualify as not really a direct sequel.

To me, I'd love to see Superman's world expanded. Introduce Steel and other characters.

I loved the cartoon public enemy movie. Shazam tried to take them down. That was cool. A cool way to introduce Diane and J’onn. Plus they won’t try to kill each other.

Yeah, it's one of my favs from that animated line of movies. The comic is a great read, too, and Ed McGuinness ' art is spectacular.

if there's a WF movie, it would great if the dynamic between superman and batman will be vastly different than it was from BvS.

just to differentiate it from the previous incarnation.

as in maybe there might be some initial distrust between the two, but superman will be able to tell right away that batman is somebody who has suffered a tragedy and is out there trying to do some good.

because this superman has a high EQ and empathy will be one of his super powers, in a way.

they'll team up fairly early to go up against a common threat.
there won't be superman out here threatening batman with "the bat is dead, bury it. consider this mercy!" and batman won't spend the first half of the movie plotting to impale him with a kryptonite spear!

One thing that just doesn't work in BVS is that they're suddenly buddies in the third act and you just don't buy it. Just like it's hard to buy into the emotion of Superman dying or the reaction that Batman and Wonder Woman have to that.

Hope I'm not spoiling the movie for anyone who has yet to and wants to see it lol.

Legit recreate the stuff from the World’s Finest movie. When Supes discovers the tracker and sees Batman spying on him from afar…what a great moment.
