The general is dead, long live the general. Before Magneto, Doc Ock, Loki, Thanos or Ledger's Joker Stamp was the first truly great comicbook movie villain.
I heard some say that great actors are 50% talent and 50% charisma but with Stamp it was 100% charisma................and another 100% talent, just for kicks! And if anyone wants proof just go watch Electra (or don't and just take my word for it) and even though that movie made Rebel moon seem like true cinema, Stamp was still great in it.
P.s. Stamp was wonderful in the Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, wonderful movie based on PKD's short story, I truly recommend it. A rare occasion where the adaptation is far superior to the (already excellent) source material.
