Oh, it's the Snyder Cult. Yeah, definitely just trolling.
I didn't think Kevin Costner or Diane Lane were necessarily miscast. I was slightly put off by Lane's accent choice, but this might be the one thing where Gunn lacked by contrast though. Making the Kent's southern when they're supposed to be from Kansas.
Amy Adams was mostly miscast as Lois for me. She wasn't sassy enough. The red hair threw me off a little, but if she portrayed Lois as more tough and self-confident, an army brat, and a little bit funny, then I would have been more receptive. No disrespect to Amy Adams as a person at all, and she seems like a lovely person, but she just wasn't Lois to me at all. She would have been the perfect Lana.
I know she won an Oscar for her role in The Fighter. Personally, I felt self-conscious of her performance. In most every other role I have seen Adams in apart from Catch Me If You Can, she always just seems like Amy Adams to me, and just that 'innocent girl'.
While I think Rachel Brosnahan was definitely a great casting choice, I realize now that we didn't see much of her sassiness or humor. She was tough and played the professional reporter part well, but I don't recall her being funny.
...but someone said Nicholas Hoult was a downgrade from...Jesse Eisenberg?

...I can't understand anyone that thought that performance was good or like Lex Luthor at all. I'll just leave it there.
