No, but having the character be someone from the comics is always a welcome nod to the source material.

I mean Elle MacPherson could've just been 'generic girlfriend' in "Batman & Robin," but by making her Julie Madison from the books...it's just a nice little throwback to the comics.

Maybe Nolan doesn't know the Harvey Bullock character... but does anyone want to offer an assumption or thoughtful explanation as to why the big cop in TDK was NOT Harvey Bullock. Was he even given a name? (I have seen TDK like 7 times and have never caught his name)....

His name was Stephens. Jeez man. For freak's sake you're amateur. We're done professionally.

Roflcopter, I just read the first couple pages of this thread where people have claimed to see it. So funny to see what some people posted and wrote "my brother saw it he knwos this stuff".

Well, I guess there credibility has gone down the drain.

LMAO. My brother saw it and the next villain will be Riddlerz!

Was Sean Penn really ever considered for the part of the Joker like they said on AICN, I think that's where I read it, before any official anouncement was made or was it just a rumour and Heath was the only actor that Nolan had in mind ? Thanks.
Also when the Joker says "here's my card." Is there a phone number on it or is it just his signature card ?

From what I've seen, Nolan has never claimed he had interest in anyone else besides Heath for the role. And even though that may not be too official, I find it very hard for Nolan to consider Penn.

As for the card, I don't think there is anything written on it. Just watch - someone will blow up a screenshot and enhance it. Hahaha

Thanks:yay:.

When Lau is on the TV screen talking to the Mobsters and the Joker comes in, how can he see or hear them? I see no camera on the monitor just two red lights.

technically he could just be hearing them (and subsequently the joker) and the scene would play out the same.

Yeah true but the way he reacts on screen its like he can see them especially when the Joker points at him.

:hehe: true--I thought he was in the tv.. like this

:oldrazz:
