I'm buying the single disc widescreen DVD (my brother is buying the two-disc), with both statues, a joker card, and the extended soundtrack at Best Buy.

**** Only At Target! Both the Deluxe and Blu-Ray versions have collectible Batman mask packaging. Also included is a digital copy and bonus footage & features // Quantities limited // No rain checks

thats what it said on cheap@$$ gamer, and is it true target will have bonus footage?

I hate those mask packages, but if it has bonus footage, I'm going to have to go with this.

It's still a toss up for me between the Blu-ray with the clown mask from Best Buy or the Blu-ray with the bat-pod.

I think i'm leaning toward the bat-pod.

If you didn't already know and if it would be a deciding factor, the Bat-pod edition Blu-ray does not come with the regular Blu-ray Case; if you'd worry about it matching your other Blu-rays.

I think I'm getting mine from Walmart. Two-Face coin and comic book sounds awesome. Plus you can buy all the best buy exclusive stuff seperately.

i'm getting the bly ray special edition with bat pod from best buy. but if you don't have the cash to buy some of he best buy exclusives, we are going to give away some on The Batman Universe Podcast.

Did anyone see a commerical on tv for the Dark Knight DVD? It must be new because I cant find it online. It had Joker laughing the whole time... you know the laugh that he does in the beginning when he forces his way into the mob meeting. It didn't have anyone talking.... just quotes from reviewers....

Anyone know what the hell im talking about?

I really like the trailer and would like to find it.

heres the link to the best buy joker/clown mask and batman mask special edition dvds

They both look okay but the batman one does not look all the good to me. I am sticking with the limited edtion blu ray batpod. Iam suprised it dose not come with the standard dvd case. For all of you who want it to match your other dvds.

I preordered the Batpod Blu-Ray. The special editions with the mask do nothing for me.

Still not sure if I get one of those $10 statues with my pre-order, but I may pick up the Batman one if not....unless it looks like complete crap in person.

That's my favorite DVD TV Spot too. That's the one that ends with the Joker saying, "This city is mine now"? But they show a close up of his face when he says "Now". That shot is new.

:cmad:

I wish I had gotten that confirmation, my preorder from them is still saying estimated delivery December 10th.

Yea! that's it. Is that DVD spot online yet or no?

I'm also surprised the Bat-Pod Blu-Ray does not come with a standard case. I thought it would be like the "Batman Begins" Blu-Ray special edition set where you got everything in a regular DVD size box including a blu-ray case for the movie.

Does anyone know how Best Buy is going to handle the midnight release next week if they're only for pre-orders or not? Thanks.

Do people even care about the movie anymore??? This attitude really is odd.
i didnt say that i will not rent it.
i saw the movie 3 times. so WB got enough money from me. but on teh DVD there needs to be mroe then just the movie. i want heaths opinion on the movie and how he played the role.
so because he is dead they can tno show interviews from him?

pathetic.

Although I am buying it on DVD/Blu Ray I also think it's a **** move to not have more extras involving Heath not to mention the rest of the cast...I would have liked interviews and test footage of the effects for Two Face as well damn it.

All in all, I'll just be happy to have the film at home and in High Definition.

Personally, I'm wondering if any of those typical behind the scenes extras even exist for this film. With the way Nolan won't ever show deleted scenes and his overall serious approach to film...I don't think they shot alot of behind the scenes footage(like most films do now specifically thinking ahead for the DVD release).
