I saw TDK twice so far, both at sold out theaters, and both times there was booming applause for Gordon's reappearance.

People clapped too, I was shocked when I thought the writers would really kill off Gordon.

I've seen this film Two times and both times

1. The Theater was mega packed

2. The hype waiting in line was insane

3. The Crowd laughed at all the right times in the film

4. Their was a major applause for Gordon's Return

5. Their was a lot of Holy **** when The Bat-pod was on screen

6. The Joker got a lot laughs in the nurse dress

7. The ending got both applause & a standing ovation

just got back from my second viewing of the movie. the first time i went on opening day the cinema was only half full. tonight it was packed.

just as the movie ended tonight, people starting clapping, so i joined in. it was the very first time id heard that type of applause in a cinema here in Australia. it was fantastic!

and of course, i jumped again during the hung fake batman scene.

the Joker got a lot of laughs from the audience during the pencil trick scene, the hand soap scene at the hospital and when he said "hi" to two-face in the hospital

Same here. When Gordon turned out to be the cop capturing The Joker and saying "We got you, you son of a *****!" the crowd went freakin crazy!

The pencil trick was a complete jaw dropper. You think he's just going to pick up the penil and stab someone with it, but you never really expected him to grab the guys head and bounce it onto the penil. Of course the "TA DA" part was too hilarious. That whole scene was hilarous.

The soap clip was too funny. His introduction to Two-Face with his "Hi" and facial expression as if to say "yeah...sorry about that" haha..priceless.

See, that seems a bit weird to me... The concept seems and sounds funny, but I just heard that there was really nothing funny it, quite the contrary... I heard that the Joker in the Nurse suit was surpose to be spookey??

ps. The scene of joker in the body-bag was that in the movie?

Sure was. The reaction I got during that scene was very silent. Like...dead silent.

I thought so too..something about it was just, off.

Second time for me was yesterday at 5. Sold out and packed. The cheers for Gordon were crazy loud.

Yeah you could feel the awkwardness and tension when the bodybag scene was shown.

Our theater was packed, most of our seats were sold out, before they were lettting us get seated there was a huge line that snaked through the lobby.

When they were finally letting us go through some middle aged man started yelling at some confused kid and his little brother to get to the end of the line because he thought they were trying to cut. "GET TO THE END OF THE LINE!!!" is what he yelled at him a couple of times. He was an a-hole.

Yes it when his men take him to Gambol , and he's in the garbage bag .

When the Batpod flipped on the wall, that got a huge pop from the crowd. Even on Tuesday, the opening scene where Batman breaks the thugs gun got a response.

That's hardly surprising.. but also kinda funny. When I was sitting there during the credits for the first time, my mood was literally like "Whew.. so happy that wasn't another Spidey 3"

I went to see TDK last night at the 8:15 show in my area. We bought our tickets earlier in the day and then showed up around 7:30 to wait in the lobby. There was already a short line in the lobby (people wanted to get good seats) but by the time it was time to be seated there was a huge line. Our showing was pretty much sold out. There were a few seats in the front row but everything else was taken. It got amusing after awhile watching people show up a few minutes before the movie was to start and expect to get good seats. There was also a 9:00 showing so when the movie was almost started people got in line in the lobby to get seats for it. I've never seen anything like it. I was also stunned that NO ONE talked during the movie. It was quiet from the opening bank scene to the end of the movie. That NEVER happens. My family and I thought the movie was amazing. It was everything I hoped this movie would be. Hopefully it will beat Spider-man because this movie deserves to be number 1.

I got to the theater around 10:30 Thursday night and the line was already wrapped around the building. I didn't get into the theater until about 11:30. There were no seats left in the theater and the crowd was awesome.
