I like that in the both pics you can see the left scar more clearly. In the second pic, it looks like he's wearing make-up even though it's not suppose look like that I guess.

hey, anyone else notice the flower and coin buttons on his vest in the hanging upside down photo?
I noticed that as well. I assumed they added those buttons to the costume for the exposition when those pictures started cropping up, but I guess he really did wear them at some point in the film.

Eh? Someone mind circling this flower? I don't see anything.

Was this pic ever released without the cast list and text? I don't think I have one on my comp but I'm not even sure if there is one like it though *shrug*

Yeah, I caught that. I always sorta found it odd the touring version had the two diffrent buttons than the screen used suit. *rethinks life because of this*

Deffintly nice pics! Thanks for them! :D But [for me] the third pic isn't showing up.

See that monitor on the far left. That is a map. And those little dots look like peoples' locations. Why couldn't this be the technology Bruce/Batman uses to find The Joker, instead of that terrible sonar CGI stuff?

I 100% agree, that sonar CGi scene at the end really felt... cheap. I was surprised Nolan went with that. If there is one reason to mark down the film it would be that part. In my opinion, it really killed that end scene, which would really be awesome if that CGi was cut. Even if they kep the concept but just didn't show. And just had Batman with the white lenses.
Maybe they used that CGi to feel parts which they didn't get the right shot for... it's a pitty though.

I would like to see one of the Two-Face concepts that were more subtle, those that Nolan believed were too realistic, horrifying and depressing, for some reason I don't think he was actually refering to the clay model from above. Don't get me wrong I'm more than happy with what we got on film but just for curiosity.

Interesting, when did he say this? Could I get a source for the interview?

thanks

Yeah that's his KAOS tattoo  (Very nice ink, I think) :hehe:

Okay, this is probably a dumb question and I'm probably the only one who doesn't know, but what does KAOS stand for? And yes the ink is very nice.

It's a tattoo with the first initials of his family members. His sisters and mother  (and it's not a dumb question :cwink:)

I think it was a Wizard magazine interview; don't know where to begin looking for it. But, yeah, Nolan says that he looked at some concepts for the Two-Face look, and the more subtle and real the scarring looked, the more horrifying and depressing it became. So he went with complete CGI to have the audience fascinated with the scarring, instead of Harvey's fate. That makes no sense to me. Another blunder like the Sonar scene.

If harvey's scarring was done with prosthetics, the sonar scene was better done, and the boat scene better done, this would have been a perfect film.

The two-face CGI and the sonar CGI and the bat-pod flip CGI were announcements to the audience. Announcements saying: "DON'T WORRY, FOLKS! THIS IS STILL A COMIC BOOK MOVIE!! STILL A CARTOON!"

Why?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why not keep it real throughout?! So Annoying!!!!!! That such a great film would fail so badly in those scenes!

The sonar scene was lame, I'll give you that.

But don't trash Two Face.

Yeah, the Sonar Scene, while not a HUGE deal, felt very video gamey and kind of out of place with the rest of the film.
