:wow:

Man, I had to look at it while I was typing this :(

For anyone that missed out on V1 Joker, got a V1 but missed the V2, or missed out on both completely, do yourself a favour and start saving some cash. Probably the last Joker figure of this quality we'll ever see/get.

Holy crap :wow::wow:

Not sure, I'll put a pic of the repainted head up tomorrow.

Anyone else notice that all you need is a Hot Toys True Type core body and you've got two full figures?

yeah man, y'all have to admit that Hot Toys is giving a pretty sweet deal. For around 200 you get two amazing figures. That's like a 100 a pop, damn.

Since it comes with both outfits now Im considering getting this since its such a good deal

how much lol and what does your sig mean?

Sorry, forgot to answer about the sig.

The night the viral campaign was getting the prologue scene shown a week early, i showed up at the Navy Pier imax theater at about 1:30 (only byte19 beat me by a couple minutes :P) and we waited there all day for them to show it.

Finally later that night when they were finally getting ready to show it, the whole main room inside Navy Pier was filled with the line. A guy reporting for some web site comes up to the front of the line to ask us lunatics why we had been there so long and such, and the censor filter between my mind and mouth wasn't working.

Reporter: "You guys have been in line more than 6 hours to see just 6 minutes of footage..."

Me: "That's why the Spider-Man fans fail."

It got a big laugh and he ended up quoting me lol.

i asked this in the batman-products thread but i need to know if anyone has a clear answer......

are there 2 officer Joker versions because i tried to pre-order it (toyrocket.com) and customer service told me it was a regular Officer Joker one, not the MMS DX 01 one.

answered you in the Products thread, but for anyone else:

Others have looked into this - there is only one version. Retailers have actually raised the price when the news broke that the figure included the second head sculpt and clothes. Toyrocket will probably catch on eventually.

thanks! i already pre-ordered it so i'm just hoping they won't make me pay more when/if they jack up the price.

They should honor their original price. I preordered from Big Bad Toy Store when it was $149 and they've since raised their listed price to $179 + included the new info on the additional headsculpt/clothes, but my preorder price remains $149.

Any seller who puts up a price up for a pre-order before checking on the actual price has only themselves to blame and they should honor those orders already placed. I would imagine to do otherwise would be illegal.

they just raised the price to $169.99 but they don't have the MMS DX description update anywhere on the page yet.

either way i'm glad i pre-ordered it when i did to catch the $149.99 deal. i was going to put it off till this weekend.

Yeah, I think I'll be doing the same. :D

My BR Joker ended up costing almost $190, so $179 is still a fantastic price for essentially getting two figs.

hey everyone...I saved up some money and I want to get the Hot Toys Dark Knight Batman and Two Face figures. Ive been looking around online and a lot of them are for preorders and are like 200 bucks. Anyone know where I can get them for a little cheaper, (maybe like 150) and that are in stock? Much thanks

Big Bad Toy Store has Harvey Dent for pre-order for $149.99. They also have BR Joker for $149 on pre-order. TDK Batman is $159.99 on pre-order. All are set to arrive sometime in May (I think).

ok cool thanks, have you ever ordered from that site before? are they reliable?

They're supposedly reliable, according to several people on the Sideshow Collectors Forum (these people would know -- they order everything). Good prices, and supposedly good service and fast shipping.

I've pre-ordered the BR Joker, and the new Cop Joker from there -- but the items haven't come in yet ... so I cannot vouch for them personally.

So does that mean that Gary Oldman's likeness is available for TDK figures (as opposed to being exclusive to Harry Potter, as others have mentioned)? Thus paving the way for a possible Hot Toys version? (I know there are custom fan-made versions available, but an official would be better...)

Or will they be making "Trench Coat Gordon" based off of the likeness of the comic book (either Year-One era or normal, older white-haired Gordon era)?

There is precedent - the Batman Returns "Penguin" action figures were not based off of Danny Devito's likeness, but rather the comic books (a much crappier version, especially when compared to the Batman Returns "Batman" and "Catwoman" action figures, who were based off of Michael Keaton and Michelle Pfeiffer).

That was pretty much just Hasbro (or Kenner at the time) being lazy, they just used a old 'super powers' mould for the penguin (just as Toy Biz did for the 1989 Joker figure) I doubt it would happen this time.
