Part 22

Fine. Believe what you want. When the film comes out, just remember me when you see Joey King playing a young Talia. Remember me. Josh Pence as Daddy al Ghul. Joey King as Baby al Ghul. And Marion Cotillard as Talia al Ghul. This movie is gonna be packed with al Ghuls, baby!

Just to bring it to this thread, in case anyone, like I was, is wondering where all this Joey King/India talk is stemming from:

If you go back to her May 1st tweets, she says she's leaving the U.S. to film in another country. This, of course, is around the time that the crew shipped out to India.

Believe me, I'm not insinuating anything, just pointing to where the India talk is coming from. Strange that she wouldn't say India though, despite telling us that she's specifically going to the UK now.

Moreover, I feel great that I'm spending time fretting about an eleven year old's quite frequent tweets.

According to THR, Josh Pence was to be featured in a flashback scene set thirty years in the past. Flashback scene. Singular. Since we know Pence was spotted in India, we can assume that they filmed said flashback scene. So for the most part, I'd wager Pence's involvement with the production is pretty much over.

If Talia were in this film, and we were to see her as a child, presumably it would be in this flashback scene, correct? If Young Talia was featured in the India shoot, then King's involvement should be pretty much over as well.

Why then would she be filming in London without Pence? Why would she be there during a time when Nolan was shooting scenes featuring the likes of Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine?

Guys... http://www.whysocurious.com/ (as reported to be registered by WB a while ago) is giving me a 403 forbidden message. Is this new, or did we already know this? A catwoman reveal soon would be sweet.

It definitely wasn't showing that message before. Interesting. :)

I was thinking about this as well. Seems like a lot of cast movement for a flashback, but I guess you (as in everyone on these boards) never know. Correction. Everyone, except brainsmasher, doesn't know.

Would be awesome if we got another official update this week but I'm trying not to be optimistic.

I doubt this is owned by WB.

Hasn't Marion Cotillard already confirmed that her role is "small"?

Filming in Croydon will starts on May 31st, and will go on for 5 days. According to someone who's actually there.

It definitely wasn't showing that message before. Interesting. :)

whois is telling me that it was both created, and last updated April 1st (heh). There also isn't any official WB registration listed, unlike the main site. Granted, I know WSS? wasn't registered like that, but it's domain registration looks more...pleasing (not the best word choice, I know). Personally, I see zero chance of them returning to the "Why So ..." idea, so I wouldn't put much stock into this.

Also, you say it definitely wasn't showing the message before. May I ask when you last decided to visit whysocurious.com? LOL. Seems like a strange to look up, considering how recent it is, and the fact that is was never updated after it's creation.

I didn't look up personally - someone linked it on here about a week ago as a possible viral site and I looked at it then. ;)

It's probably nothing.

But that's the pessimist in me talking.
