i figured what the hell....with the movie under a year away,merchandise WILL be coming in the next few months...plus,if i remember correctly,the first images of TDK Movie Masters figures started leaking during the winter of 2007/2008,so i wouldn't be surprised if we see some stuff online by the end of this month or sometime next month...not to mention,Toy Fair in February,where we'll probably see the whole initial launch line....so,any and all news,speculation,pics,etc. bring em in here...

think it's safe to say we'll at least get Batman,Bane,and Catwoman in this line...wonder if we'll get the long-awaited Bruce Wayne finally in this line (and,i'll say it again,there's NO good reason Mattel can't make an official one considering they have all the parts already molded to make one!)...perhaps a new Gordon as well,just in a different painted outfit as,again,Mattel already has the parts molded...Alfred would also finally be nice,but i wouldn't hold my breath....

also wonder if Mattel will just rerelease TDK Bats in new packaging,or if they'll actually try to do a new sculpt...cloth cape?

Sellit on Amazon has Gordon for $34, shipping included. I just bought mine - well worth it considering how much gas I'd spend tracking him down w/o any guarantees.

As for Catwoman, I'm not as worried since she's not an exclusive. Mattel will definitely ship more in the coming weeks. I'm moreso concerned about the Ra's Al Ghul secret figure.

Yeah, I agree - Purchasing Gordon for $34 may be your best bet considering the amount of gas people are using searching for this figure. But this Dark Knight summer is just getting started, maybe by the end of the summer there will be more figures in stores than we can handle. - Kind of how we can go to a Toys R Us and still find the 2008 movie masters figures.

As far as Fort Worth and Arlington, TX goes for those who are interested, here are some updates.

Arlington, TX - Walmart on South Cooper street had absolutely nothing but one Batman movie masters figure. The Toys R Us by Parks Mall on Cooper St., didn't have any movie masters figures as well. This was Yesterday.

Fort Worth, TX now -
2 days ago, the Walmart in Fort Worth, off of I-121 by Beach St., didn't have any Batman stuff as the toy section looked obliterated. It was a mess.

Today, I went to Toys R Us, off of I-30 by Cherry Lane. No Catwoman figures at all. One Alfred, 1 Batman movie masters and then about 6 of those Bane vs. Batman 2 packs.

Also Today, the Target by Montgomery Plaza on 7th Street didn't have any movie masters as well. Just one Batman.

Hopefully that helps people, especially in DFW. I happened to be driving by those areas today, so it didn't hurt me to stop by and check. Maybe we'll all get lucky by the weekend or something.

I'm all caught up until my Blake figure and Secret Character figure (Ra's) ship from EntertainmentEarth.com.

I posted last weekend that i scored x2 Gordon's from a local AZ wallyworld as well. I've had walmart associates punch in the gordon upc and they have said that its non replenish able as well. Which in their words means "we can't order more, once they are gone thats its". So that worried me until i walked into wally and found a case stocked. x2 Gordon, x1 Bane and x3 Batman.

And on a final note.......I love Movie Masters

Pissed, was at work all day today and never got around to checking for Catwoman at my local TRU.

No Gordon in my area as well but even if it did land the scalpers would snatch them up first. Which is why i never shop there, its such a waste of time and a long drive for me in some very nasty traffic and i have a full time job and a family to care for, so being there when they stock is not possible.

I don't believe its not replenishable, to get an exclusive they have to make a certain unit commitment. Toyguru goes on endlessly telling us how they have to produce a whole bunch to make it work. Maybe it is just that store but i guess we shall see. I just think its too soon for that to happen. The movie is not even out yet. All previous walmart exclusives have been full cases of exclusives, they chose a fine time to dial back. I don't blame them though after the debacle with their YJ exclusives and the Green Lantern 2 packs of which the later half was taken possession off but never made the light of day but may at some point. Personally if they did want to do a one time deal with no replenishment then they should have at least done a solid case of 6 gordons, one to two cases per store.

I personally prefer the catwoman with the goggles up and failure on Mattel's part is that they could have either made those gogles go down the right way or included an additional head. There was no reason for 2 versions accept to create a frenzy. They could have also made the goggles removeable and included both versions one pair that went on up and another that went on down. There was no reason to do 2 different figs. They should also set up an exchange program for those Banes with unpainted backs.

I would love to but my brother's girlfriend found me a Gordon and I'm going to trade with her.

Someone on SHH already claimed Alfred so I have 2 Batmans and a Bane I need to move. I'm thinking of just returning the ones I bought at Walmart to get my money back.

No better out here in central MA (Leominster area). I'm going to check Nashua, NH tomorrow after work. If you happen to go down to the North Attleboro area check the Walmart there, I used to find MM there all the time in 2008 when I lived down that way.

Found 1 Catwoman variant (goggles down) at my TRU today. Think they raised the price a couple of bucks for the 6" MM but they have a promo for $10 gift card if you spend $35+ on TDKR items.

FYI, Avengers display was also changed to a huge Spidey display.

Yea I got numbers to target Walmart Kmart toys r us Newbury comics all around me. Still nothing

I never go to Newbury Comics for MM figures because they seemed to be behind all other retail locations back in 2008. They would get them like 6 months later and charge like $20 each. They get other figures regularly but MM's don't seem to be a priority. At least that's how the Leominster, Attleboro, Nashua and Newton locations were back then. Maybe things have changed...
