Character You Would Like To Play: Hannibal King
Powers: As a vampire, Hannibal King has superhuman speed, strength, reflexes and stamina. He does not age.
Basic History Of The Character (Up until this point): A private detective who made a modest living, King was bitten and killed by a vampire while on a case. Waking up to find himself one of the undead, King was horrified at what he had become and vowed never to consummate the curse by passing it to another. Thus, King would subsist on blood that he purchased (or stole) from blood banks and fed on corpses or animals. King also preferred not to use his vampiric powers, believing that he gave up a part of himself every time he did so. In spite of his vampirism, King continued to operate as a private detective, but could only travel freely at night.
Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:
1. I like what I've seen of him, but to be honest, that would mostly be Ryan Reynolds' portrayal of him in Blade: Trinity. One of the high-lights of an otherwise bad movie.
2. I like the idea of a character who is very powerful but doesn't use his powers.
3. I almost took up Blade, but I didn't feel right taking up one of the "big ones" of the Marvel Universe. Then I thought of King and found him perfectly suited to my style. Plus, I like picking up characters no one has played before.
What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you changing him or her?):
I plan on delving a tad into his origin. I want to show the power of will he possesses, to be able to resist his natural urge to hunt and kill and I also want to slowly make him more comfortable with his own powers

I hope to bring another good character, as well as good stories. As well as another character, out of few, that takes part in the supernatural side of Marvel.

It had taken him a while to get a solid lead, but damn, it was worth the wait.
As the moon shone bright in the sky, blanketed on all sides by softly glowing specks of light, Hannibal King crept from crate to crate, as silent as the night itself.
A few months ago, a woman had barged in to his office, screaming bloody murder. Apparently, her daughter had been killed by some low-level street thugs in a drug bust gone wrong. The police had told her they had no leads and couldn't do anything about it. After a friend of hers, a satisfied customer of King's, recommended him, she showed up at his doorstep.
At first King had shown the case little to no interest. As horrible as the murder of an innocent girl was, this wasn't exactly what he specialized in.
That is, until some digging was done. The police reports, which Hannibal had gotten his hands on through means not completely on the right side of the law, showed that 3 crates of pills of various nature were found. Which was impressive enough, Hannibal had thought to himself, even without the 5 freezers full of blood that were also found, but conveniently left out of the report.
Now, see, this is more like it.
