The "Dawn Of Marvels" RPG Signup/OOC Thread

I can see "pop a byrd" somewhere down the line.

...

Is it me or does "popping a byrd in someones ass" sound sexual?

Sorry, BM.

"Eheheeheheh.... BM....like poop..."

Now that things seem to picking up again, I wouldn't mind coming back as Wolvie and Ghost Rider... although, I've been rather unceremoniously stripped of my GMship for some reason, so I'm not really all that pleased...

Can you blame us?

You were all too willing to merely drop your characters and leave. Meanwhile, Marko and I showed every intent on fighting for this RPG.

I don't think I'm a GM any longer. 'tis cool. Even though I *****ed at MB until he finally made this RPG! :cmad:

Actually, I spent alot more time trying to save this RPG than you did. I sent out two rounds of PMs over two months or more while you simply sent one mass PM to a whole bunch of people.
Your attitude makes me not want to rejoin. I devoted a ton of time to being a prompt and effective GM even after I'd dropped my characters, as well as all the time I spent PMing people and begging them over IM. Thanks for the appreciation.

You're still listed as an Assistant. I think that Feature deserves to have a position more than anybody else around here! You weren't stripped. At least not...I hope...

Oh ****! You poked the Candian Bear!

Oh come on, you guys. Just fight nice. We all know that Feature worked his butt off to help this RPG. Really, the only reason I rejoined was because there was more than one person who was bugging me. If it was just EBJ or just Feature I wouldn't have rejoined. Just lets all make this a fresh start and take this opportunity to make a good RPG even better!

Yes, you did try to save the RPG. And that's why you were a GM during that time.

Then you decided that you didn't want to anymore, so MB handed it over to Marko and myself.

Why should there be a GM who doesn't even play in the RPG - especially when there are willing people?

I had thought you had dropped out. Had I known you still wanted to GM, I would've never taken it away. You were an exceptional GM, and the only reason I would ever consider stripping you of the title was of your own merit, which I had thought you were going to bow out. It's simply a matter of me misunderstanding that, for which I apologize.

:cmad: EBJ, you're not making things any better...
I just don't see how it works.

GM with no characters that's given up hope and is willing to let the RPG die.

Or:

GM with characters that's still fighting.

It's not a knock on Feature's GMing abilities. He's a great GM, and I was devastated when he gave up on us. But you can't blame us for trying to seal the wound and move on.

As "Senior Advisor" to this RPG. It's in my best interest to advise you to....FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

First of all, I didn't want to play in the RPG anymore because I believed there would not be an RPG. At no point did I say: "I'm not even going to help you guys out by being a GM anymore." As you can see, I approved Marko to play the Lizard AFTER having dropped both my characters.

Why should there be a GM who doesn't even play in the RPG? Why don't you ask Master Bruce that question? He continued to GM (and is still GMing) despite the fact that he didn't not play a single character for some time. I guess you're just dying to oust him too.

The point is not that I'm sour because I was stripped of being a GM without even being consulted, the point is I find your unappreciative attitude disrespectful. Don't even talk to me about not being willing to play in the RPG. Where were you while I was grinding it out keeping this RPG alive and begging you to join via PMs? Seems to me you weren't willing to play until Spider-Man himself became available. Get off your high horse.

You talk so much about all your effort, and yet you still dropped characters while there were still players.

Were SenseiofCheese, Marvels Finest, Spideyssuperfan, and the rest not enough to keep you around?

If you were really fighting to the death as you claim, you would've been the last person posting. But no. Even though there were a handful of other people, you still felt it was time to post epilogues.

Guys, please don't turn the ooc thread into a battleground. I get a laugh out of a good argument as much as the next guy, but don't let it tarnish the name of the game we're trying to save!
