Well, yeah, I'm dropping Thing.
But I am seriously down for getting the ball rolling in this RPG. I won't be as frequent of a poster, due to school, but I still want to be involved no doubt.
If anyone has any ideas, PM them to me or talk to me on here.
I thought about bringing in Wisdom for Excalibur, but I'm still contemplating. I'm not dropping out completely, by any means.

Character You Would Like To Play: Dr. Stephen Strange
Powers: Doctor Strange is a skilled athlete and martial artist with substantial medical and magical knowledge. Strange has anunparalleled mastery of the mystic arts, his primary magical patrons are a group of entities known as "the Vishanti." The Vishanti are a trinity of godly beings comprised of Agamotto, Hoggoth, and Oshtur. Although recently he has called upon the power of the demon Dormammu. Stephen is capable of a great many abilities such as: astral projection, telepathy, hypnotism, longevity, mystic bolts, transmutation, telekinesis, and shields.
Basic History Of The Character (Up until this point): Stephen earned his medical degree in record time and entered a five-year residency at New York Hospital, where his rapid success made him arrogant. Stephen's mother Beverly died near the end of his residency, and work became more and more impersonal for the bereaved surgeon. Strange's talent remained, however, and he became a wealthy and celebrated neurosurgeon before he turned thirty. Egotistical and greedy, cold and callous, Strange's interest in his patients generally began and ended at his bill.
Strange was involved in a debilitating car accident. Though surgeons were able to save Strange, the nerves in his hands were severely damaged. With his surgical career over and too vain to accept positions as a consultant or assistant, Strange exhausted his fortune following every rumored treatment, no matter how legitimate. In a matter of months the once wealthy surgeon became a derelict, and resorted to performing a number of shady medical procedures to survive (and pay his growing bar tabs).
After hearing rumors of the mystical Ancient One, Strange pawned his last possessions for a ticket to the East. Strange found the Ancient One's Tibetan palace, but the aged sorcerer refused to cure him. Annoyed, Strange later bore witness to a mystical attack by Mordo, the Ancient One's own pupil. Though Mordo tried to mystically prevented Strange from warning the Ancient One, the doctor was able to quickly attack the man killing him with a knife to the heart.
Strange then learned that the Ancient One was the Sorcerer Supreme, mystical defender of the whole world; for the first time in years Strange acted to defend others, and vowed to learn magic himself so that he could atone for what he did to Mordo and aid the Ancient One. Aware of Mordo's treachery the whole time, the Ancient One accepted Strange as a disciple.
Strange spent years under the Ancient One's tutelage, learning to tap the innate mystic powers of himself and the world around him, as well as how to invoke the powers of Principalities, powerful beings such as Dormammu, Satannish, and the Vishanti, who reside in their own mystic realms.
Strange was a perfect student, but he had within him a darkness. Years of being shunned by his former peers, and searching in vain for a cure to his damaged hands, left the man a hallow shell of his former self. So when the demon Dormammu sought out Strange and offered him power beyond his wildest dreams, the man could hardly say no.
After Dormammu had established an alliance with Strange, the Ancient One saw amazing improvement in his student. As Stephen grew in power, the Ancient One felt it was time to pass on his title as Sorcerer Supreme to his disciple. Strange was put through and passed a test against Death itself. As a reward, Strange was given ageless life, and an ankh-shaped mark on his forehead that would only appear when his life was in dire jeopardy. The Ancient One himself had attained near-immortality by passing this test over 600 years earlier.
The instant Strange became the Sorcerer Supreme he struck down his former master. Now Strange travels the world in an attempt to gain ultimate power over everything. While on the surface appearing like a friendly, and trustworthy person, Strange typically plays heroes against each other, using them as pawns in some grand scheme.
Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:
1. I have always liked mystical characters, and they don’t get more mystical then Dr. Strange.
2. Always wanted to RP a nice evil guy out of a superhero.
3. He has a cloak, a mansion and a manservant.
What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you changing him or her?): Dr. Strange is evil, selfish, and uncaring. The personality he had as a surgeon stays with him through life, but evil of course.
Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): I have done RPG’s on other forums, and do my best to stay in the spirit of the game. On top of that, who doesn’t want to play superhero?

Dr. Stephen Strange sat back in the large chair, a smile across his handsome face. The hero before him looked confused, but the instant the velvet, deep voice of the Sorcerer Supreme was heard a sense of calm filled the room, "Now, now, no need to be so tense. I am here as a friend."
Strange held his hand out, and a fine mist drifted about the room. The man waited till images of lost loves, dreams unfilled, and paths not taken clouded the mind of the hero. "Anything you want can be yours. I ask nothing more then a favor."
Standing Stephen made a tight fist. The joy, and hope within the room quickly where sucked away and replaced by a cold dread. The smile upon Dr. Strange's face never faded, "If you cross me however, you shall learn what pain is." A laugh filled the room, a deep booming, wicked laugh that shook the very walls of the city.

Powers: Genius-level intelligence, Powered armor grants:Super-strength, Flight, Energy blasts and enables Iron Man to communicate with other machines.
Basic History Of The Character (Up until this point):
Born to a life of privledge, Tony Stark skated through life on easy street. His genius level IQ hardly being put to use as he barely tried in school. Looking for the next party and next gitl to share a bed with.
He was 18 when his parents died in a airplane crash. Stark Technologies and his future were shoved into his reluctant hands. Five years later, Tony has turned the company into a world leading arms producer aswell as turning the cornerstone on the media buisness. He still loves the night life and is something of a paparazzi darling. That all changed the week he went to Iraq. Tony's caravan was ambushed by terrorist. Stark was kidnapped along with his military escort James Rhodes. The two of them were forced to work with terrorist on weapons and new forms of bombs. Unknown to the terrorist. Stark and Rhodes have been working on something in secret...
Now Tony has introduced his secret to the public. A red and gold suit of armor and he has donned the name Iron Man.

All my scanners said crime was taking place all over as I was flying all over New York...
"This is going to be easy..."
I increased the speed to Mach 3 and flew down to a robbery taking place in Queens.

"Everyone get down!"
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Gunshots to the ceiling caused fear in the hostages and dust fell down, but the doors busted open and I flew in to help.
"Is this the Halloween party?"
"Who are you?"
"Shoot him!"
BANG! BANG!
The bullets flew right of my chest and ricocheted into the walls.
"I probably should've made that right turn at Albequerque."
I then landed infront of one of the robbers and got in position to hit him.
"Trick or treat!"
Then my fist connected with his face, and he went down like a sack of potatoes.

His worshipers called him Aten, Sauru, Set, Kali and Huitzilopochtli, who are all personalities of the Marvel Universe. Only through treachery was he tricked into a trap, rendering him unconscious for several millennia

Jack Ravenscroft stepped into the burial chamber. This was the oldest set of tombs found in Egypt to date. It preceeded everything else by hundreds of years. Tutenkhamen, Cleopatra, Ramses, all cast into insignificance by this new unknown figure.
He and his collueges had translated ancient runes on the front of the tomb. They talked of En Sabah Nur, The First One, a man literally worshipped as a god in hundreds of cultures. It talked of a re-birth, the day when En Sabah Nur would rise again. They called it the end of the world, Judgement Day. Apocalypse.
Ravenscroft first expedition had decended into the cavern hours earlier, but he'd lost radio-contact around the time they had entered the chamber. His last information was that they had begun to open the sarcophagus of the one called En Sabah Nur. Jack shone the torch into the chamber. The bodies of his colleuges were strewn about the floor, bloody and broken.
"Good god..." he muttered. Suddenly there was a collosal roar deeper in the chamber. Curiosity overpowered caution, and he stepped forwords. He saw a gigantic figure in the dark.
"Traitors! Infamy! Liars! Deception! " the figure screamed. Jack took a step back. The figure turned round.
"w..what are you" Ravenscroft stuttered.
" I am APOCALYPSE!"

Apocalypse was born En Sabah Nur in the mid-3rd century B.C. in ancient Egypt. He is the first recorded case of a mutant. The only recorded case of a Class 6 mutant (the scale typically only goes to 5), he considered himself a god. He was taught the survival of the fittest philosophy by Baal, who raised him as his own child. He traveled the world being worshiped as a god wherever he went. His worshipers called him Aten, Sauru, Set, Kali and Huitzilopochtli, who are all personalities of the Marvel Universe. Only through treachery was he tricked into a trap, rendering him unconscious for several millennia

Jack Ravenscroft stepped into the burial chamber. This was the oldest set of tombs found in Egypt to date. It preceeded everything else by hundreds of years. Tutenkhamen, Cleopatra, Ramses, all cast into insignificance by this new unknown figure.
He and his collueges had translated ancient runes on the front of the tomb. They talked of En Sabah Nur, The First One, a man literally worshipped as a god in hundreds of cultures. It talked of a re-birth, the day when En Sabah Nur would rise again. They called it the end of the world, Judgement Day. Apocalypse.
Ravenscroft first expedition had decended into the cavern hours earlier, but he'd lost radio-contact around the time they had entered the chamber. His last information was that they had begun to open the sarcophagus of the one called En Sabah Nur. Jack shone the torch into the chamber. The bodies of his colleuges were strewn about the floor, bloody and broken.
"Good god..." he muttered. Suddenly there was a collosal roar deeper in the chamber. Curiosity overpowered caution, and he stepped forwords. He saw a gigantic figure in the dark.
"Traitors! Infamy! Liars! Deception! " the figure screamed. Jack took a step back. The figure turned round.
"w..what are you" Ravenscroft stuttered.
" I am APOCALYPSE!"
