I think that's a good amount of time away at least, and we can't NPC them all....

i think we should hold off on a league just yet considering superheroing is illegal and all and most supervillians are in lock up.

I don't think the League should be made for quite a while yet to be honest, nearing the end of the season (if the season has an 'event' that is), which'll give reason for the JLA to be brought together.

We also need to sort out who's in Checkmate by the way? (if anyone isn't familiar the hiearchy goes like this)

That's how I understood it, because I don't think Luthor banned meta's from simply existing, just working as vigilantes. Now working with the government? I think that's a totally different matter, especially if it's hunting illegal vigilantes. I reckon that'd be okay, but M3STK and Karem are probably the people to see about it

Well, a way I would've pictured the League coming back, or a team like the Teen Titans was that one of the children, or persons closest to the original team members, would grow try to create the teams. It would be underground at first, because just because "metahuman" activities have been fixed, that doesn't mean normal crime is.

Well, I did suggest that Metahumans working for law enforcement or government agencies or with powers that couldn't be classified as dangerous in any way would be exempt, and I hope that we use that. Anyway, here's what I was thinking for the Checkmate line up:

I do like the idea some of the now senior heroes working with the governments of the world, don't get me wrong. I just plan to make the entire Flash family outlaws, so to speak, and continuing to fight crime the old fashion way with no ties to any governing body.

Okay, revised Checkmate. It's a slightly altered version of the current Checkmate model. The organization is now much smaller, with only eight pawns per color, and I'm also adding "Rooks," who are high powered metas. The White Rooks are used mainly for defense and secuirty, wheras the Black Rooks are more along the lines of living WMDs. Also, most Black Pawns will be former villains, while most White pawns will be retired heroes.

Ahh, cool. I got to pick up Checkmate sometime. I also have one more question, how long has the current rendition of Checkmate been around? I only ask cause Rose Wilson is my Robin's mom. She left her family a few years ago,

Much like the current Checkmate series and the old one, half of the characters were/are unknowns. Filling it with seemingly randomnly chosen metas isn't necessary. You're probably right. It was just something I thought up pretty quickly and roughly. Revisions should and will be made over time.

I don't like killing anouther member of the big three (Clark, Bruce and Diana.)
