The "Easter Eggs/References" Thread (Spoilers)

Sooo....there was a rumour a long time ago that Eric Kramer had a cameo, any truth to this?

My audience didn't react to any of the easter eggs

But one person behind laughed at the "stark" ref...

Seeing Hawkeye was just amazing, IMO. I also loved the reference to Bruce Banner.

The Stark reference was the only easter egg which got a response at my screening as well.

I'm guessing Hank Pym was supposed to be the colleague Selvig was refering to when he mentioned the one he could contact who's had dealings with SHIELD.

That's too far fetched imo....

I missed the Walter Simonson cameo, where was he suppose to be in? :(

Stan's cameo was also another thing that my audience DID react to.

really?
my theater reacted to the Banner reference as well as the Stark reference.

As I said in the rate & review thread, I had a lackluster crowd.

Isn't he the first guy who finds mjolnir on earth?

No, that was Joe Michael Straczynski who made Thor popular to modern audience. Walter Simonson is the guy who made Thor popular in 80s and pretty much defined how the character is done more or less. I just read this article and apparently he and his wife we're elderly Asgardians or something at the end of the movie when the heroes celebrated their victory.

ok, Walt is sitting just to the RIGHT of Sif after they return to Asgard at the dinner table.

JMS is the FIRST guy to try to pick up Mjolnir

STAN if you completely missed it, is the Guy in the truck who tries to wrap a chain around Mjolnir and pull it out loosing the bed of his truck. THAT got alot of laughs.

Vartha, I can't look at your avatar without hearing "what is love? baby don't hurt me. don't hurt me, no more..." in my head. lol

my crowd did react to the Stark&Banner references and Stan Lee&Furry's cameos!,I'm one who don't react much except laugh a bit and do a clap or two or just whisper them to my wife and vice-versa.

It's not cause I think it's mature or grown up to be serious But it's just the way I am and I am shy so I keep it to myself,I definitely had geek gasm's through out the movie in my head!!

hahahaha Glad it effects you in a good way. lol

When Coulson called for some 'eyes in the sky' and they cut to an agent grabbing a gun...only to put it down and grab a crossbow...

My crowd let out a big "ooh..."

We all knew EXACTLY who it was. :awesome:

Yeah our audience weren't that knowledgeable, there were maybe two guys you could tell KNEW what was going on, but ALOT of these people had kids with and THEY all were excited! lol

I thought that was a reference to Banner.

I thought that was a reference to Banner.

He did referenced Banner,But then he said he was going to E-mail a colleague who could help and who also knows about SHIELD!

Banner was someone he knew disappeared after SHIELD went looking for him or something like that

I thought that was a reference to Banner.
The Script does refer to both..
Pym and Banner. Banner they never really say his name but a Gamma Scientist is rather Obvious. Eric DOES actually say Dr. Pym in the Script.

I read an interview with Skarsgård, [BLACKOUT]where he confirmed that Pym was the colleague he was referring to[/BLACKOUT].

I don't know where I read that interview but trying to find it is a *****. :cmad:

Well I CAN'T post anything word for word from the Script, so if you can find what you're thinking about that can Help. lol
