Right now I'd only like to know if any merchants sell healing potions. I have checked most of the merchants in imperial city and chorrol, but I can't find any. The only person I found who sold potions at all was the bartender in IC, and he only sold the potion of illness.

Oh, and this game rocks, but it makes me wish I owned Fallout 3 (which I've spent over a 100 hours playing). I think there's more content in Oblivion though. I'm 10 hours in and I've only done one quest, one dungeon, and 5 fights in the arena.

You should make your own potions. Alchemy is probably the most useful skill in the game.

Thanks dude, just realized that. I feel like a 'tard for selling all my ingredients earlier in the game. Thankfully a raided a dungeon with a bunch of alchemy equipment, even if it's all novice. I ****ed in my pants just now after creating a weak axe that does weak fatigue damage. Can't wait til I can make weapons that do fire/electricity/frost damage!

Are you playing on PC? If so, there are a lot of great mods out there.

Sadly no. And does Oblivion tend to glitch away certain items? Because I stole three empty grand soul gems to cure my vampirism, but they're gone now. I went back to the Arcane University and the case was still open from when I finally lockpicked the very hard lock. I might have sold them on accident to the dark bro merchant, they've the only people I've dealt with since becoming a full vampire.

Not sure why I'm in a rush to cure myself, it isn't all bad being a vampire. The charm spell doesn't work for me anymore though.

I think after 7-10 days (in the game), chests reset. Only safe chests don't reset. Those are in the houses you buy.

I always just used the cure spell to heal. Or, I found out, if you just wait an hour, you will heal that way as well.
