I hope the third party voters sure are happy... and the Bernie loyalists feel the Bern now.

James Carvel on MSNBC just said how this is going to ruin the country.

We’re seeing in exit polls that the gender gap overall is going to be the widest since 1976 — Clinton wins women by 12 points, Trump wins men by 12 points.

But a deeper dive into exit poll numbers reveals something pretty fascinating, which is a split in the vote of college-educated white women and non-college-educated white women. College-educated white women voted for Clinton 51 percent to 45 percent, but non-college-educated white women voted for Trump 62 percent to 34 percent. That difference is nothing but stark and something we saw inklings of in October, when I wrote about how many Republican women were willing to overlook Trump’s history of sexual harassment allegations and derogatory comments about women. Partisanship is a hell of a drug.

At this point, I am beginning to think Bernie would have done better against Trump.

Hillary had a ton of advantages against Trump, if she lost, its her own fault!

I know, I agree, but kicking that hornets nest as enthusiastically as people have doesn't encourage people towards reason either. Mocking the unreasonable isn't the way to get them to be sensible, their perception has been that they're being persecuted, ironic, but plays a hand in this election.

The thing is I don't see any way that they could be turned around as they are set in their ways which is lost in time, but like Kelly said they aren't where this has swung, this is the bigoted nature of people with plenty of education that has led to this, there are by far enough well educated, intelligent people for Hilary to have won by a landslide if they were voting on anything other than hatred for people that aren't like them.

I might have voted in this election had Biden ran.

Bernie... Biden... Michelle... all would have won in LANDSLIDES.

Hillary is too damn dirty and Trump did a perfect job of convincing people he was better.

I think we need to try to be somewhat positive and just focus on putting pressure on our representatives to push back on any outlandish policies. Use the branches of government that's what they are there for.

Why didn't Elizabeth Warren run again exactly?

Pleased with the results, Trump was not my first choice when the GOP race started, I liked Carson. But as a Christian I feel he is a better choice then Hillary. This election is showing that people are saying they are sick of the current state of Washington DC and want some real change and not a clearly corrupt politician that will be same old same old. Everyone saying end of the world is mostly overreaction and frustration that they lost. I expect things to be about the same as they are now with less moral decline that we got from the Obama administration.

It wasn't them....it was white suburban women willing to vote for a misogynistic ass hole....they won this election for Trump. Good job ladies.
This is how I see it.

Women are slightly more than 50% of the US population and had the power to reject an unapologetic misogynist. But we got "Women for Trump" instead.

A Trump win isn't the fault of Sanders followers, nor is it the fault of third party voters. A Trump win is the fault of the DNC for favoring a weak and 100% corrupt candidate, and those that voted for her in the primaries. Sanders beat Trump in every poll and is currently the highest approved political figure. He would have won without question. Hillary stole the ball from Bernie while people cheered and missed the shot. If you wanted a Trump defeat and picked Hillary, the cold, hard truth is that you're part of the problem.

Are you for real?

You maybe right, but I'm not sure that's the issue, more stats will have to show, I think it's the increase in uneducated people that is to blame, the college educated primarily seem to have been out for Clinton.

Our only hope in this country are reasonable Republicans in Congress. God help us all.

People like you are why I forsake religion. You just elected Domitian. Read your Bible.

Who cares? This election is proof the polls are BS.

Right, media and elites are so out of touch. I don't mean those as pejoratives but they really flubbed this election coverage and how to handle this election in general.

Srsly depressed now, since I'm an immigrant, this is just the worst outcome possible...
