The Allspark is not the Matrix of Leadership because that will be specifically mentioned in the movie [according to the leaked script]. As I mentioned before the Creation Matrix/Leadership Matrix brought up questions [EG Were they the same? different?] for fans when TF:TM was released because of the similar names.

Even though we fans won't have a problem with the similar names today, I think calling the 'artifact' the Allspark instead of Creation Matrix works out well, and more importantly won't confuse the all audience members who don't know the first thing about the TF mythos.

In the script it is described as a cube covered with a pattern of alien inscriptions (sp?) in it.

And it also describes it as becoming smaller like the shape of a football when Bumblebee changes it, so it may end up looking pretty close to the matrix shape.

Oops, my mistake. I don't know why I thought the Matrix of Leadership was mentioned. I just checked again [page 60 of leaked script]- while there is a bit of dialogue that mentions a "dynasty of Primes" [significant to the overall story] but doesn't expressly mention the Matrix of Leadership.

A revised version of this scene that cites the Matrix of Leadership would add more weight to significant piece of backstory we learn in the scene. Hopefully it's been included by now.

As long as the Allspark is not regarded as Bay's version of the Matrix of Leadership then I'm okay with it...whatever context its used in.
