I wonder if Dane Whitman will actually become the black Knight in this, Will the Black Knight be turned into an Eternal?

This doesn't seem like the movie to introduce a whole new character.

Why wouldn't he? God, I hope they don't refrain from showing him kiss his husband or be affectionate with him. It's really annoying when studios are like "Hey, look! We have a gay character! But don't worry, he doesn't do anything too gay." I remember when they made a big deal about Sulu being gay in the last Star Trek movie and he had like, one scene where he walked up to his husband and patted him on the shoulder.

Marvel has never been big on romance. They might just show the character's family twice and call it a day. Just keep expectations low so as not to be disappointed.

What if he's like a bookend viewpoint character who is taken from the present to the past and sees how things were like years before? Maybe it starts out with him, and through his eyes we're introduced to the world of the Eternals.

Who do you think are going to be the leads of the movie? I would assume that the "main" leads will be Black Knight, Sersi, Thena, Ikaris, and Ajak. Those five seem to be the biggest names in the cast.

Captain Britain had a sceptre though.

Also, Hayley Atwell's character in What If? seems to be called Captain Britain instead of Captain America (for obvious reasons).

A simple peck/kiss wouldn’t hurt between some gay characters. I just don’t know if it’s Ikaris or not. I hope it is, because that’d be ground breaking but I don’t know if Marvel is brave enough to do that.

We don’t even see that much kissing from the straight couples. Stark and Potts didn’t even kiss until the second movie. So people shouldn’t get their hopes up for story to focus on the gay angle.

They weren't a couple in the first movie. Pretty sure Stark kissed that reporter he boinked.

Romance has always taken a back seat in the MCU. If it's there it's implied or unrequited or something. Though with Cap he kinda earned his.

Understood. I don't think most people are expecting the gay character's relationship to be the primary focus of the movie, but at the same time showing him kiss his partner shouldn't be a big deal either. Thor kissed Jane, T'challa kissed Nakia, Scott kissed Hope...the list goes on.

as progressive as we are, we still have just as many around the world that aren't.

Okay but cut it for sensitive markets. Keep it for the markets that can handle it. Disney has done crazier changes to films in their animated films for different markets so why not do it for this? It’s one way to say "we have a gay hero" but then you don’t really see them do anything like: kiss their partner. A kiss wouldn’t hurt, especially if it’s just something natural and not some big slow motion moment.
