Money. The last movie bombed. I don't get why they're making this.

Ah, it can finally join the pantheon of Fant4stic and 2 Fast 2 Furious as quality cinema.
*Jim Harpert-style look into the camera*
I hope so too, but seeing how the first and third movies turned out and looking at the director (same guy who did Act of Valor and the Need for Speed movie) I'm not getting my hopes up. I was kinda into the idea of this one but seeing the director has me not excitedHoly crap this has Iko Uwais AND Tony Jaa. They BETTER not waste these two, we better get some absolute kick ass martial arts fight sequences.
They also have Saw, which still makes decent money and is low-budget enough to recoop.I'm not expecting this to be good at all, but I did like this director's previous movies. They could have gotten a much better director though but considering how Expendables 3 turned out it doesn't surprise me.
Lionsgate is hanging by a thread as it is since they don't have many successful films outside of the John Wick franchise and I'm sure they are just praying this makes them a profit at least from the International BO.
As bad as it did domestically and as lackluster/disappointing of a sequel it was I'm still shocked to this day that Expendables 3 almost made $200M OS alone.
