The Expendables 4

It's funny because 50 Cent was originally supposed to play Hale Caesar in the original film, but got replaced by Terry Crews when fans complained about his inclusion.
 
The weirdest casting in this film is Andy Garcia. I can't ever picture him as an action star.
 
Man, they couldn't have chosen a less cringy/awkward way of opening that trailer? I usually don't mind Megan Fox in certain roles either, but I get the feeling this is going to be a rough one.

Oh well, hopefully this movie at least delivers on the fun dumb action.
 
Just praying that Iko Uwais and Tony Java’s work isn’t destroyed by poor directing and editing like they usually are in America. Seeing Donnie Yen in a John Wick movie was a joy, cause those guys know what the hell they’re doing.

Damn the lineup here stinks. Such a shame that the third one added dudes like Snipes and Banderas and wasted them. Now we have 50 Cent? No Arnold, no Terry Crews (tho we all no why). And Megan Fox? Really? So many other badass women in Hollywood that would fit at home here imo. Hell It felt like that scene and how she fights was for Scarlett Johansson in mind.

Yeah, I gotta say… Megan Fox should retire from acting. She’s been acting professionally for what, 20 years now? And she still hasn’t improved? I guess I can’t blame her for sticking around since there are still people willing to cast her in stuff but she’s just terrible.

Fortunately for her, so are plenty of her costars in this so maybe it doesn’t matter lol.

It looks a bit VOD but could be a fun throwaway action flick, cool to see Levy Tran in another role, I liked her in MacGyver.

She a sex symbol that's why she gets gigs. Her acting is usually surrounded by her being sexy.
 
lol I vaguely remembered that Statham had a girlfriend subplot in the other movies. And how she was always cheating on him or something cause he wasn’t around. Then found this…



Maybe his character arc is he finally finds “real” love with Fox.
