The Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw

Yeah apparently Keanu is Elba's boss in the movie. I really hope this turns out to be true, because he would be such a awesome addition to this franchise. It's too bad they couldn't get Denzel for Fast 7, but I am still holding out hope that they get Neeson or Gibson in one of these movies one day.

The Fast, Furious and Expendables? ;)

Let's just have a Fast and Furious movie that involves Zombies, time travel, Nazis, Aliens, space travel and the Expendables because why not?

I would genuine pay full price for an imax 3D showing of Keanu and statham going at each other.

David Leitch apparently told a German publication that they're already planning an extended cut for the home release.

The Hollywood Reporter had a piece this morning about Universal's ongoing legal battle with Neal Moritz, but in passing, it mentioned that Universal wants to do a female spinoff focusing on Cipher. I'm hoping that's the female spinoff where Letty and the other women from the "family" are the heroes, and Cipher will be the villain, because you can't seriously say with a straight face that you want to turn Cipher good.

Well that is what they do.

I know, but at the same time, you need to draw a line somewhere and say enough's enough. You can't keep turning the damn villains into heroes.

The Fast And Furious Franchise Might Give Charlize Theron’s Cipher A Spinoff

With this summer’s Hobbs and Shaw release, the Fast and the Furious franchise is officially expanding into spinoff territory.

And why not? The Universal property has made the studio over $5 billion in box office earnings worldwide. After Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham have their own blockbuster moment this summer, the next spinoff may shift its gear to techie badass Cipher, from 2017’s The Fate of the Furiousplayed by Charlize Theron.

I could dig it

Ryan Reynolds Has Joined The Fast And The Furious Franchise

We Got This Covered isn't usually reputable, but Reynolds did work with David Leitch on DP2.

Shaw was the bad guy a while back and was the guy that killed Han and they turned him good. Also, technically, she wasn't the guy that pulled the trigger. It was Tormund.

She kidnapped Dom’s kid, and tried to steal a nuclear sub. She’s a villain.

Shaw killed Han. He deliberately committed an act of pre-meditated murder. He tried to murder the entire family. He's arguably a terrorist as well. He WAS a villain, and now he's the hero.

Looks like Reynolds is in the film after all.

Ryan Reynolds Joins ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Ryan Reynolds will be joining the cast of ‘Hobbs & Shaw’ in a cameo role as a CIA agent who recruits Hobbs, he also will have a past history with Hobbs which could lead to audiences seeing the further fleshing out of Hobbs’ character. Reynolds’ role in this film leaves the option open for him to return in a larger role in the sequel.

Still early days yet, but BoxOfficePro is putting the opening weekend prediction at anywhere from 75 to 115.

As much as we roll our eyes at this series, Joe average will fork over his hard earned cash for it.
