The FFINO ZONE - Part 1

I found this comment he made interesting:
"Apparently the studio wanted one movie, and Trank wanted another. It shows in the final cut, which is a mixture of both."

Not backing any anonymous internet commenter here, but that's been the rumor for ages. Given the massive reshoots (they made the film go over twenty million dollars over budget after scrapping 3D, they were massive), it's certainly plausible that the final cut would reflect that.

Yeah take all of this with a giant grain of salt for the moment. But at least we don't have to wait long to find out the truth.

Also noteworthy that he claims his name is now Von Doom. Another user who claimed to have seen it said it was Domashev. So I really don't know who to believe.
Pretty sure it is Von Doom now. They seem to have changed it with the reshoots.

He also said that:
"You know that bit in the trailers where they dump the Thing from an airplane and he goes on a mission? That whole scene is missing."
It will be easy to see if he lied when more people will have seen it.

Did they cut it last minute to throw Quicksilver in instead? :o

[BLACKOUT]Quicksilver was inserted into DoFP very shortly before production to replace a Juggernaut scene that involved dropping him from a plane. The actor was cast and everything.[/BLACKOUT]

Oh my goodness this whole situation is just so damn embarrassing.

Why didn't they just keep the Von Doom name in the first place?

Why didn't they keep Thing's pants, number of fingers, or Jewish faith (which I assume is gone since he eats bacon cheeseburgers at Denny's)?

You cannot change 52 year old character's names and not expect a backlash. Imagine if they changed Lex Luthor's name to Lex Whitmore or something like that. It's ridiculous.
I remember when M. Night decided he was going to change the pronunciation of TLA character names. An adaptation of a 60+ episode tv show, where they said the names all the time. That is when I knew it was doomed. :funny:

Don't you dare criticize the Nolan. :cmad:

Yeah why should the fans get angry at that Mr. Shyamalan? What a tool.

I'm cool with the actors despite their PR mistakes and because I don't take actors all that seriously but Josh Trank? Yeah I don't care for him, even though I feel sorry for him if any of the rumors are true.

To be fair, Nolan changed Raysh to Ra's.
I didn't really care for that because I grew up pronouncing it a different way. And having Robin's name actually be Robin is pretty dumb. Love Nolan but he isn't perfect.

I hope FF is a fun bad movie, I need another movie to make fun of.

Also on Twitter a dude from the Hollywood reporter was saying that the rumors are that Fox shot 40 pages of new material for the film. The reshoots were massive ladies and gentleman. He was commenting in relation to Rogue Nation's reshoots and saying that he hoped Fantastic Four's reshoots worked out as well as that film's. And to him I say, I ****ing doubt it bud.

Have you seen Dracula: Sovereign of the Damned? It's technically a Marvel adaptation, and you don't have to feel bad about... acquiring it... online (it hasn't released officially since the early VHS days afaik, and likely never will again). Better yet, find a clip of Dracula eating a burger. Laugh at that. No need to contribute to this film's box office.

You already have Furious 7.

I think the problem always comes back to these movies not being any good. If Fox was making great Fantastic Four movies, the vast majority of these rights complaints would disappear.

This post needs to be placed at the top of every thread in this section.
Notice how many people are clamoring for Marvel to get the FF rights back, compared to how many are doing the same with the X-men. Know why there's such a huge difference? Because Fox has been killing it with the X-men franchise recently. They are using the property to make good movies that fans want to see; not so much with the FF. It's really that simple.

Ideally I'd like to see FF fully revert and Marvel and Fox co-produce an X-Men reboot after Jackman's farewell movie.
