Yeah Tomorrowland wasn't that entertaining.

Ideally I'd like to see FF fully revert and Marvel and Fox co-produce an X-Men reboot after Jackman's farewell movie.

That would be pretty ideal but with the bad blood between marvel and fox, it seems like a very long shot.

Poor Hugh though, you could tell that he really wants to see the character in the MCU. No doubt it would be awesome to see.

A lot of what the negative reviews are saying is that this new incarnation is worse than the previous Fox FF failures. I don't know if I buy that, it seems like an impossibility.

I think it's fair to say that good or bad that most are likely trolling. I'm seeing posts that start something like "nobody will believe me, but...". You're right, we won't. It just seems they come out of the woodwork at the last second to wind everyone up.

We'll know for ourselves soon enough when the movie is actually released and you can see what critics and audiences alike are say and measure that against the box office.

I've just been reading what's posted here, but people have been linking to Bleedingcool's comment section or Aintitcoolnews in this forum.

IMDB have some supposed reactions up as well on their forums.

Why is it hard to believe it may be worse than the Story films? It sounds like it follows a similar format. Didn't expect much praise to fall on this film.

You know that bit in the trailers where they dump the Thing from an airplane and he goes on a mission? That whole scene is missing

from the comments on willie's link...by the same guy who gave the first review Max_cinefilo89

Perhaps it's harder for some people to believe that a more serious take on the characters could be worse than its lighthearted predecessors

Catwoman managed to be worse than Batman and Robin, and Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li managed to be worse than Street Fighter: The Movie. It happens.

So there are at least three different people all saying the same things and none of them good.

I guess we'll know more in a few days, but after a year and a half of seeing something that looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, I'm sort of expecting it to be a duck when it's finally unveiled.

And that duck to drown after three days!

And studio heads aren't idiots either. If they decide to embargo reviews until the last possible minute, or worse, not let the press see the movie at all, they know they have a poor product on their hands.

Of course we can't say for certain if those comments are legit, but they seem to go along with what we've been suspecting for months now.

"Rarely are films of this size critically well received," he said. "This is not a movie we're going to go on (review website) Rotten Tomatoes and it's going to be at 80 or 90 per cent."

The film's lead admitting that the film is going to be panned. Punisher War Zone and Ghost Rider 2 have proven that a Marvel logo doesn't print money. Only Michael Bay films are critic-proof.

Also, based on reports from the Atlanta screening, it sounds like reactions are mixed between people who love and people who hate the film. That isn't a good sign.

Shouldn't you be mad at Marvel for selling the rights in the first place?

Marvel selling the rights to their characters was an act of desperation to save themselves from bankruptcy. So, to some degree I am grateful that studios lent them a hand in their hour of need, but I am sure the contracts given their perdicament were done very lopsided in favor of Fox. So, I feel like Fox has had their chance to make a good Fantastic Four movie and has failed to do so. And they only retain the rights because they were able to abuse their position of power during Marvel's time of need. One might argue Marvel didn't need to agree to the terms, but if your a starving kid with a sandwich being dangled in front of you, well you would probably agree to just about anything. However, if Fox was a person and not a business it would be looked upon as terrible that they took advantage of the situation, and made it appear as though they were helping Marvel, but when in reality their only interest really lies with helping themselves. I realize people can say well thats business, but I don't have to like it.
