In this comment section. We'll see if it turns out true because the dude has alot of specific plot points. If y'all don't wanna go through all of it here's what he said:
He is not stone or block or rock or whatever anybody ever thought he was . . his body does not change. He does not "grow bigger." He has the heightened ability of a evolved mollusk, and his body grows a nearly impenetrable SHELL . .. let that soak in . . SHELL! Like a ****ing ninja turtle . . and the SHELL, while nearly impenetrable, has the ability to change itself in real time to "absorb" impact. So the little dude is still in there basically, covered in a huge ****ING SHELL when it's time to fight. At first it is purely reactionary, it happens when he feels threatened or scared, but of course by the end of the movie he can change pretty much at will, which is completely a plot line lifted from the Hulk in Marvel's film. Of course this completely ruins the character, not being forced to live as a monster pretty much negates his entire character arc.

That obviously sounds godawful, but I'm a little skeptical. In the trailers, we never see Jamie Bell with the others after they get their containment suits.

That explains why he has No-Thing. :sly:

I was watching the extended clip and I thought about asking you guys: Have ya'll noticed that young Reed from the first trailer looks a little different than young Reed from the recent trailers? And that Sue seems to be wearing a wig or a hair extensions in the recent trailers when she wasn't in the first?

Can ya'll confirm for me what that's about? I have my suspicions, but I'd like to hear from ya'll.

I read that on other site, he also speak about a action scene cut:
NEW FOX4 REVIEW!

So I had mentioned earlier that I had a positive review of the "rough cut" I saw a while back and I had the "privilage" of seeing the final cut last night... [frick].

I don't know what I was thinking when I watched the "rough cut" but my opinion did a complete 180. The effects didn't improve a speck from the rough cut, Doom was a [frick]ing mess and offensively bad and the story, which I previously enjoyed on first viewing, just seemed hacked up to ****.

So yeah, without saying anything that could get me in trouble, the film is a botched mess and will go down in history alongside X-Men: The Last Stand and Spider-Man 3.

Oh, and the humor? There was more here than I originally recalled but it's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen levels of ******.

Oh yeah, one more thing to edit in, my favorite scene in the entire movie, a highlight action scene with The Thing? Cut. Gone. Why? Because the effects for him weren't up to par so his scenes were snipped.

Final opinion on Fantastic Four?
4/10. No thanks to the sequel.

Some of my fellow countrymen have watched the movie. I asked a guy who watched it and he said this is not true.

I posted the reaction of the guy in the twitter reactions thread.

My source, who is a critic who has seen the movie, told me that there was two parts for the movie. Two parts for a 100 minutes movie !
The first hour is about the presentation of the characters, and the action only begins during the last 35 to 40 minutes.
This movie has to be really boring and unbalanced ! Of course, because of the embargo, he never told us what he thought of the final product, but when you analyze the few he said, it's pretty clear that he didn't like it. (I'm pretty sure that he thought that while the movie wasn't very bad, it wasn't any good either. "bland" is a word that may be a good fit)

When it comes to unverified early reactions it's best to be sceptical regardless of whether you're for or against.

Indeed. That one is one of the more outlandish ones i've heard so far. Think someone already debunked it on twitter. Well who knows.

Anyone seen this yet?

"Fantastic, elastic, i got the thing thing thing". Yeah that's k-pop lyrics alright. Not the worst feature i've seen haha.

I just read something that literally cements this as a horrible reboot. Fox has really butchered a great character if true

Apparently Ben learns how to change back into his human state. That's right, the Thing has been turned into the Hulk.

My god......

Where did the spoilered review come from? Is it the same guy whose review was posted a few pages back? (Linked to the site that cannot be named and was based on the rough cut).

I checked out that guys other 'discussions' (was linked at AICN first) and it doesn't make for pretty reading. The dude is very trollish so not one to be taken seriously at all imo.

I'm actually skeptical of that guy. We see Sue using her force fields in the trailer, in a "training" sequence, but he claims she doesn't use them until the very finale of the movie.

If Marvel gets the rights to the Fantastic 4, it would be pretty cool to see them show up in the Black Panther movie. Like in the comic

Wow. That would be awesome. (I mean how cool would it be to see Reed introduced as a colleague of T'Challa pre transformation?)

But the only way that would happen is if this filmed bombed so hard Fox could not justify to their investors sitting on it for another 7 years. If it surprisingly turns out good (which I can't fathom but hey you never know) then I would not root for it to bomb. But if it's as bad as it looks right now, I want it to bomb so hard that Fox executives' heads spin.

Black Panther has already been pushed back to make room for Spider-Man. I want T'Challa to be the focus of his movie.

And he would be. I'm not saying they'd have a presence throughout the whole film but maybe 10-20 minutes, if that.

Just spitballing here, but maybe the accident with cosmic rays could be a failed mission to investigate in incident in space during the events of Infinity War.

If this ever happened Marvel would need to seed these characters into the MCU very carefully. In other words, just a cameo here and there. I picture a universe with Reed Richards and co. but no "Fantastic Four" for a while. I think Fox will have damaged the property too much.

But a modern introduction is just one way to go.

Another way to go is to introduce them into the 60's era. Have them disappear on a space journey and not return until the future ala Interstellar, relativity, etc.

A TV series is probably the best option to reestablish these characters favorably in the public consciousness (I mean shoot look how awesome Daredevil is) but there are issues/questions with regards to the special effects budget and what they can get away with. I'm a lot more forgiving towards TV special effects than I am movie special effects. It's a trade off you accept in order to get more stories featuring your favorite characters. However, considering that way back in 1988 we had Star Trek: The Next Generation and other great sci-fi heavy series like Farscape and Battlestar Galactica I don't see why it couldn't work.

Do they have enough characters that they can make great films for the next 100 years without Surfer, Galactus, Dr. Doom and Reed Richards?

Sure.

Will it be the Marvel Universe In Name Only without Surfer, Galactus, Dr. Doom and Reed Richards? I'd say so.

Yes. I know.

But I'd rather have Marvel Universe Light than continue to suffer through FOX bastardizing everything they get their hands on until I'm disgusted by it.

I like that idea.

The problem with the timetravel from the 60s idea is how to incorporate Doom into the story, if he didn't travel with them then he is now 50 years older than them and has apparently spent that time doing nothing. If he couldn't get anything done in all that time when they weren't even there to stop him can we really take him as a real threat now they are back?

I suppose he could use science and mystical powers (introduced to the MCU via Doctor Strange) to keep himself young.
