Ahhah, wow. I'm almost speechless. I wonder if that blogger crap was Trank's, Slater's or Kinberg's idea. Or did they all come up with it before throwing a party.

Trying to have a little faith in Kinberg myself, because he's hands-on with so many things right now. I don't want to be afraid. At least Singer seems to be able to work with his stuff.

I think there's more than ample evidence at this point to support the fact that at a minimum, Josh Trank was barely involved in the reshoots, and likely locked out of any final editing decisions.

The changing of the blogger-doom, back to the traditional Victor Von Doom. The changing hair color/style of Kate Mara, from what I'm told it changes from one scene to the next.

I think you can say it's pretty accurate that originally Josh made a film as he intended that was such a garbled piece of crap, that was nearly totally unusable that he was locked out of production, but they had to continue, lest risk losing the rights due to a halt in production, so Kinberg and the other producers went back to finish what had started and came up with a garbled mess, but at least one that was palatable enough to be shown to test audiences.

Whatever the case this pile of **** is going down in flames! FANT4STIC!

I just don't understand how after years of CBMs, it's not really surprising when one looks like it's going to be a crapfest that they're right. I mean the only time I can think I was wrong was with DOFP but that has more to do with, Fox previous eff ups and that I didn't like Quicksilver's look not necessarily bad word of mouth.

Eh i still think dofp is vastly overrated. Most of its praise was because it was bold enough to fix "errors of franchise past" but it in no way should exist within the realm of top 5 cbms imo. I found MoS and most of the mcu films more entertaining

That's my thought exactly. DofP is a pretty good movie that fooled people into thinking it was a great movie because it erased X3. X2 is still the best in the franchise.

Somehow miraculously Singer extracted a decent film out of another of Simon Kinberg's horrid scripts. But yeah - it's way overrated.

Agree completely. X2 was (and still is) a great movie IMO. Ahh... just thinking about it brings me back. Back to the days when I did not HATE FOX WITH A SEETHING PASSION.
