Booo on you! Boooooo

Even a free ticket counts for these FOXtards :cmad:

If the ship is crashing and burning, I want a front row seat. I've got the free ticket, the hate in my heart, and the alcohol in my system to have a grand old time.

Movie Bob nailed it.
I'm seeing this movie tonight with a free ticket I got from my theaters rewards program. I've asked five or six of my usual CBM friends to go see it with me, all of them save for one told me no and that I was wasting a ticket.
I have to see this train wreck. I just have to.

Yeah, I was planning on skipping this one, but seeing on how bad these reviews are I am going to go watch it. It's going to be painful, I know it, especially considering the FF are my 2nd favorite comics growing up as a kid, but this is 1000 times worse than I ever dreamed.

I said from the beginning that this might be a good movie, but I was 100% convinced that it was going to be a bad Fantastic Four movie. Well to my hopes and dreams not only is it a bad FF movie, but this movie will probably win the Razzie for worst picture of the year!!!!

Just make sure to use that free ticket for an Ant-Man showing at the same time.:cwink:

Also, I'd like an explanation on what brought you to the conclusion that FOX is the only entity that would give us an R rated film. ? Are you saying no other studio would ever do a Deadpool R rated movie? Or that you doubt he'd get the same treatment under Disney? Go check out Daredevil my friend.

Because under Disney, Deadpool would never be able to drop F-bombs and do 18+ stuff etc. That's something Daredevil never did.

Dude, no need to worry, this film is a failure already. At best this will pull in 40-43M and even if it has a decent multiplier it might barely scrape 100M, but in all likelyhood this opens sub 40M with those reviews and has no better than a 2.0 multiplier.

The preview showing will be less than 1M. You heard it here first. If I'm wrong I'll eat crow.

That's what Fox are counting on. Either you watch it because it's so good, or you watch it because it's so bad. It doesn't matter which, because it still counts towards another box office ticket for them, because

I remember you and I being in the same boat for months; this could potentially be a decent film, but certainly not an FF adaption I'd want to sit through. I said on more than one occasion that I wouldn't pay to go see it, but I take it back. I take it all back.
The fact that it's apparently worse than the previous two is just astounding, I am truly in awe, and I must see it.

That ain't a bad idea.

So having Kingpin smash a man's head in a car door until he's decapitated, is considered "family friendly"?

The F bomb was dropped in Daredevil... Not by Matt, but that's because that's not exactly in-character for him.

In regards to Deadpool I'm actually pretty excited.

Yeah, I don't think Daredevil would quite go as far as Deadpool looks to be going. That said, Marvel and Netflix's Daredevil is still pretty dark and violent. A Marvel/Netflix Deadpool would hardly be a travesty.

I think in post production, they decided it was too hard to fix, so concluded that they would make it as bad as possible to entice viewers that way. It doesn't matter how they get bums in seats as long as they get them there.

LOL

Be as obnoxious as you possibly can. That way the folks in your theater will be entertained, 'cause you know this movie isn't going to do that.

I understand the intrigue to witness the disaster ... But I wouldn't do it on opening weekend.

Seriously, I think it's pretty important that the audience speaks with their wallets this weekend. Just look at all the comments from the people who made this trash; remember what they said to comic book fans everywhere? Heck, look at what they said about the SOURCE MATERIAL itself. Based on that alone, I refuse to give this movie any of my money.

I know this is going to make some fanboys super angry but the only way I see myself seeing FF is if a family member wants me to go or if I sneak into a showing after Man from U.N.C.L.E next week.

Agreed with what youre saying.

The funny thing is if they wanted t promote diversity or whatever, make multiple members black or hell, even though I don't like race changing making Reed Richards, smartest man in the world, black would've been more impressive to me

Diversity from the movie with the "no girlz allowed" trip to another dimension. :o

After seeing the movie, you should get yourself an extra drink, because darn it ... I think you'll need some kind of reward for being able to sit through the entire thing. Good luck. :funny:

As long as you don't give them money I'm cool with it. Especially after opening weekend.

Which episode?

Well we didn't exactly see the head being ripped off from the body, only the end result and Kingpin's face as he's doing the deed. Even then, Deadpool would probably do one better as The Infernal says.
There's only so much Dark and Gritty I can take, so no.

Hey I hear ya, if I didn't have the free ticket it'd be a different story. As it stands, the curiosity is just too much to bear.

Zing!

Yeah come on guys. Don't support this travesty opening weekend!

I must watch it burn!
