The FFINO ZONE - Part 2

Phases 4-6 could, theoretically, all feature the FF in a core role if things were done right. Imagine Skrulls as the big bad in the big Phase 4 event film, classic Secret Wars (with Doom getting ultimate power in the climax) in Phase 5, and Galactus as the big bad (literally!) in Phase 6...

Everyone would win Fox, Marvel / Disney and the Fans, it would be Win / Win / Win!!!

I think FOX really helped Marvel out here with FFINO. Marvel's The FF is going to have virtually nothing in common with Fant4stic. New cast, new tone, 60s setting, real Doom, humor, young Janet and Hank, Peggy Carter, Howard Stark - you can slot this immediately after Infinity War.

I'm saddened by how many of you are so insensitive and quick to forever damn the X-Men in mediocre hands.

Let the FF revert without further damning the X-Men.

F4 is definitely the bargaining chip. A FoX-Men tv show has been on the table for nearly a year. The only reason it would be tabled that long, with no decision by Marvel, is if they were waiting for something.

I.E. The critical and financial response to Fantastic Four.

It could be, but remember money could also be the main issue. Marvel could be looking what WB is pulling in for Gotham and the fight could be mainly on the numbers. Plus, X-Men is still a profitable brand (compared to FF) for Marvel even if they don't have make the films, so the fight could be if they want to strengthen Fox's hand on keeping the property for another 20 or so years.

The manifest destiny of Marvel Studios will happen at some point Endeavor. It may not happen for some years, but mark my words...it will happen.

I hope this news is true, but for right now I'm going to hold back my hopes. Just in case.

....Still, having Doom in the MCU.....My excitement will explode none the less..:exp:

That review was 2/4 stars. :oldrazz: But we're back to 8%

:lmao:

More from the same article:

I suspect the interdimensional planet was named Planet Zero because there are zero things to do there. Regardless, everyone wants to go there really bad.

The first half of the movie takes place inside as they build the machine, and the last half takes place underground at Area 57 (not even 51), where the government can keep an eye on everyone. I guess no wonder everyone wants to go to Planet Zero so bad; it’s the only opportunity to get some fresh air.

:hehe:

Honestly, I don’t think I could spoil the ending if I tried because it makes no sense and has nothing much to do with the rest of the movie. It feels like an ending tacked on because someone mentioned, “You know, we never really show any of the Fantastic Four using their powers, so maybe we should do that?”

Television rights will ensure that Fox keeps the X-Men...pretty much forever. LOL

I'm ok with that because I don't think X-Men will work at Disney/Marvel Studios. But fans of Marvel produced live action need to realize the extent of such a deal.

X-Men's locked up for a few years regardless. Improve the business relationship now. The MCU X-Men reboot can happen after a new deal improves relations (which is basically the way the Spidey situation went down).

D23 is NEXT WEEK. No way it happens by that time.

It may just be my giddy excitement talking, but I had heard some rumblings a while back that Disney and Marvel might be talking and I said at the time: "Well nothing will be official until Fox releases FF, but they could be working contingencies based on certain performance levels."

With this film at 10% on RT and Rise of the Silver Surfer Box office not even a possibility, Fox knows and Marvel knows that Fox has zero intention of making another FF film, so I really can imagine a deal could just be going through the final lawyer look-over at this moment.

If they just started talking today, yeah, no chance. But with the rumblings we've been hearing and the timing of this comment today, I really believe this could be all but a done deal.

Hey, I much prefer X-men over F4, but that's a pipe dream when that franchise is performing well. Plus it's not like Marvel could do anything with those tv rights. That and people have received most of Fox's X-men properties well. While not as true to the spirit of the comics they've been, it's enough for me to beleive there's potential in that format. Even for Fox.

They're in negotiations with Marvel about the X-Men series. Marvel better ask for the F4 rights!

Nothing lasts forever! Companies collapse and go bankrupt. Assets get sold off!

Right on.

It helps that X-Men Universe is just as expansive as the Marvel universe.

Film still hasn't had its opening weekend yet ;)

Time to repair the relationship. Movies aren't the only thing suffering from this bad blood.

The treatment of fox owned characters in comics is annoying as well.

I don't think Marvel would be at the table unless the F4 rights were sitting in the center of that table.:woot:

hell management changes occur all the time. maybe the new boss hates superheroes and axes them to make room for more projects by his own people. Nobody can say for certain what could happen.
