The FFINO ZONE - Part 3

The survey posted is a joke, but as far as I know, Fox actually did distribute a survey.

Which in itself is a joke because how could there possibly be any confusion regarding what fans want?

There's absolutely no scenario under which Fox could make another FF film without making fans completely furious.

If they think it was bad this time around, just imagine how bad it would be if they tried again after rubbing this s*** in our faces?

If that is real. They will not get that X-Men TV Show

The scary thing is, if they have indeed done this survey, they are intending on continuing to flog the F4's cinematic corpse :bdh:
To the tune of you know what:

Let it go, let it go
Your film was an awful yawn
Let it go, let it go
Your chance was blown and gone
Here fans stand
ever in your way
Let the mouse rage on...

We didn't go see it anyway...

It's probably something that was planned a month ago, which means they didn't realize how big of a disaster it would be when the survey and plans to distribute it were implemented, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

And IF they did just come up with it this week, I would assume it was designed to make Marvel think they might make another film.

Fox won't make another FF film. If anybody wants to make a bet on the other side of that, just name your conditions.

Funny how this has turned out. Chronicle is now a clever metaphor to Josh Trank's career.

I haven't seen the movie, but just how atrocious was the last act, Spider-Fan? From what I've read they rush it all within 20 minutes or something?

The last 20 minutes are the worst part of the movie. It is basically the ONLY action sequence of the entire movie, and it is about as impressove as the Tim Story action sequences. Also, what they did to poor DOOM! They basically made him like one of my sister's ex-boyfriends :csad:

Yeah everything after the time skip is a complete mess. They excised the entire 2nd act and then cobbled together the rest with reshoots. It has no payoff and character motivations just seem to evaporate. By the time the Four go to face Doom in the negative zone the movie is almost over and that was when -- for the first time -- it felt like the movie was about to take off and start getting a plot. It's a structural disaster.

The 1st act wasn't even that good. Seriosuly, the tree that could only yell "I am GROOT!" had more personality than ANY character in this movie. They were all cardboard cut outs that I never once gave a crap about. Whether it was the first 45 mins or the last 45 mins.

I mean Jamie Bell and Miles Teller were pretty cool in the first act. So was Toby Kebell...then that s*** went into straight freefall after the "One Year Later" mark

Are you going to rate it in your sig or is that only MCU movies?

Agreed. It seems to skip any genuine character development in favour of hitting the bullet points of a plot the movie has. Movie is terrible through out.

I am going to tonight when I write a review. Spoiler aler: This is a 1/5

Stan Lee didn't even have a cameo, did he?

I feel the same. The one year later crap really makes no sense. Definitely a cop out.

I mean the film wasnt great before the "One Year Later" mark. There still was little chemistry and the performances were meh other than Teller and Kebbell.

While this one is at 9% on RT, I imagine that the Trank cut wouldve sat around 40%-50%. WHich isnt good, but it's better than what we got.

Why do people like the first act? I nearly rolled my eyes off my eye sockets when I heard Ben's brother say Its Clobberin' Time.

Makes me wanna leave, but the movie only just started.

They took too damn long to set this movie up.

I lol'd at the guy saying he's taking his worst enemy to see it. Reminds me of Angry Joe's review of this movie.

I have to apologise on behalf on my (idiot) fellow countrymen. Apparently F4 will narrowly beat MI:RN this weekend in the UK with £2.7mil over MI's £2.4mil...grrrr :csad:

Awww. They saw it anyway.
