The Final Swing

instead of at night time, why not just on the cusp of dawn so he gets to see the sun rising while doing his thing...

probably less linear swinging

interaction with the frame of a constructed building would be nice... also interaction with non stationary objects (i would have loved for him to encorporate webslinging off the helicopters or perhaps sticking to the bottom of one for a while in the last film).

more dynamic comic book esque leg movement and body flicking, he looked like he was putting way WAY too much effort into it in the last film, far more effort than in the first, it should be effortless.

also going back to what someone said earlier about a ripped costume, i think it would be nice, so we can see the definition and muscle tone of his body while he swings and perhaps also his parts of his facial expression as well, imagine watching his stomach going taut or his arms tightening up at specific parts of his movement. even as far as seeing his muscles contracting when his web fluid duct is being used (it's the little details that make it worthwhile).

for the love of god put a sommersault in there inbetween a swing or something, it's only happened once in the last two films (right at the beginning of the second one which was arguably the weakest of all the swings seen).

perhaps the fact that mary jane was there would be a decent idea (although very obvious to someone trying to keep a low key of their relationship), but i feel if would draw too many parallels to superman and lois' flight in the first superman film.

also small factor such as the speeding up of the swing at the bottom of it and perhaps catching glimpses of left over webbing (come to think of it, the dissolving of spidey's webbing has not yet come into question over the last two films, absolutely shocking).

overall, what i would like to see him do is to hear some danger (let's assume it's right after he's gotten rid of the symbiote and needs to get a new costume) and do the final swing in a worn out battle outfit, so he says to whoever that he needs to go and get some new threads, so he webslings in a battle ruined outfit with muscle tone and facial expressions visible, passed a scene where the rhino (or someone) sees him and thrown a car at him, while still in one fluid motion, he web slings the car, twirls and swings it back to the rhino, continuing to move forward (camera now pans back at rhino where you see the car hitting him and exploding), parker makes his way up to the top of the daily bugle where he's hidden a spare costume, in a bag, he takes it out a mask, wacks it on (indicating he's now in new threads), jumps out of a windown and swings back into the rhino's direction which is where he swings into the camera and the film ends...

that would top the first one, no problem and that's all what we're asking for, something that would top what's come before it...

Not in sm2.

The final swing in sm1 was graphically superior to sm2's. It looked more fluid and surprisingly more realistic. sm2's just looked liked a cut scene from a spider-man ps2 game.
plus when he starts to swing at the end there are no buildings. so he was swinnginig in the air. didnt make sense.

the helicopters did a very god job to destroy the scene. they looked so fake. i am sure that in the 90's they made more realistic helicopters.

What if spidey has MJ with him when he swings this next time.

Someone brought that up earlier. And the more that I think about it, the more I wished THAT would have been the final swing of SM2.

Spidey swinging in his torn up red and blue costume with a dead MJ in one arm with it raining and a black cloudy sky.

Either way,a happy ending or a sad ending,MJ really should be with him when he swings at the end.

Well we will probably have Pete and Mj's wedding and then go into the final swing. However they may decide to have Spidey and Mj swinging...OR have Pete and Mj swinging.

I don't know there are too many variables.

I want SM3 to end like the rest of the films, with Spider-Man swinging through the city against a bright sky. Adding MJ would be nice.

I like the rain and/or night time idea; like Sam Raimi said, "We can't depend on something we've seen before."

What if its ends like Spider-man Swinging in a thunder storm,Venom Comes Out Of No Where Starts To fight And Spider-man Get Away,While Venom Falls in the Docks,Then Spider-man Stands on one of those Cranes Looking Back And Then Venom Is thrown Out of the water,Then Doc Ock Jumps Out of the water,And Looks At Spider-man Yelling "I got Him" Then right before His Tenacle Hits Venom....the credits role

your joking right?

because taht would actually suck.

WOW! You people are so stupid! If anything it will be the most triumphant because he has overcome so much, and for people saying its venom, god you little punks! This is why the internet should not allow kids age 5-15 on it!:cmad:

The question is why would we want to see the final swing in the rain at night. The final swing is triumphant, it signifies that our hero has won. We wouldn't be able to see much of a decent swing at night either.

I don't mean we couldn't see anything, but the final swing is a chance to show off Spidey's acrobatics, and that would be blinded out by the rain or the night or whatever it is people were suggesting. I want a nice noon or evening shot like the first two, to watch Spidey swing off into the sunset.

Yeah, you know what I'm talking about -

The end of the film, the final sequence; the money shot that has our hero swinging dynamically through the city.
I can't think of another film that has such a sequence, and it's become a trademark for the series.

I can't wait to see 3, Spidey 2 kicked 1 ass badly

It'll probably be Spider-Man swinging with MJ in his arms (alive) with Uncle Ben's words "With great power comes great responsibility. Remember that, Pete. Remember that."

End credits. It doesn't need much more than that.

All this Venom crap and "tragedy" is annoying and it wouldn't appeal to the general public, just desensitized nerds.

That actually sucks more than most of the Venom crap.

Perhaps im most delusional..and i know i will not got this. But I would have the movie end with Peter and MJ getting married. After the wedding Peter carries MJ off and they web sling over the city. Closing shot has Them pass a certain building......The Ravencroft Institute.

After the credits we would be treated to some shrink talking to a guard..heres my idea...more or less.

Scene: We have a close up of a doctor with a clipboard walking through some kind of facility and we can tell behind him/her are two guards with someone

Doctor: After they found him, he seems in a state of delusion. Constantly repeating "I know".

Guard 1: But do you want to really put him in the cell with him?

Doctor: Our new patient is clearly in a harmless state, and our favorite resident is kept in restraints. Both will be heavily survailanced.

Scene: The guards push the newest member of Ravenfcroft forward...Revealing Eddie Brock. They open a cell door with a skiny red headed man laughing .

Redheaded man: Whats up Doc? Brought me a new playmate?

Scene: Brock gets lead into the sell

Doctor: Eddie, this is your new cellmate, Cletus Kassidy.

End

wishful thinking....

That actually sucks more than most of the Venom crap.

It's a CLEAR ending. It wraps up what was established in the first two films! AND IT'S A HAPPY ENDING (which audiences love).

So, tell me: how exactly does that "suck"? Because you can't watch Spider-Man 3 without the last shot being Venom or Venom-related? Taking that route in the films WOULD suck!

no, the final swing is spideys thing, it should always be just Spidey. When he is doing the final swing, it's almost like it's saying to us, that he will always have a job to do.

I would rather it end with "I'm Spider-man" again then hear " With great power, comes great responsibility, remember that Pete, remember that."

It only sounded good once.

How about a swing scene that has Peter and his new wife MJ swinging... then, only noticable to a few people, a small shadow in the background of something jumping and chasing them... Venom returns and slams Peter and MJ into a brick wall and a Venom/Peter fight scene breaks out making a second scene that we get to see Venom fight... MJ is unconcious at first while Peter and Venom exchange moves... Venom gets the upper hand and is on the brink of killing Peter (yet again) by holding him against a wall attempting to choke the life out of him... MJ regains conciousness... she tries to help Peter by throwing a couple bricks at Venom's head... Venom becomes enraged and uses symbiote webbing with his free hand to grab MJ and slams her into a wall, desk or something that could easily kill her because the throw snaps her neck like a toothpick (sorry for the seriously overused simile)... seeing this enrages Peter more than ever and takes control of the fight but loses control over himself and kills Venom... (add mourning scenes and prelude to Spiderman 4 and maybe some credits with good music)

If Venom does die, this is the only way that I (personally) think it should be done. However, I in no way, shape or form advocate the killing of Venom.

To all the people saying Venom should be doing the final swing: Yes they're right, because Venom is the main charecter of the film and the most important one of the trilogy :whatever:
