He's always "one step ahead".
It might be via Gideon, he did mention to alert him if the future changes
He's theatrical.
I don't actually mind them wearing dark clothing (Cold, Heatwave and Glider) because it brings attention to their very bright guns. Weather Wizard would need something like his wand to have an equivalent, though, since he is just completely dark and bland looking (well, not in the face, but y'know).(snip)
I'll start with the good. I love Captain Cold! I love the guy! Every stinkin' second he's on is a joy to watch. They are smart to try and showcase him in the upcoming team up show.I also liked Heatwave and Cold's hot sister.(See what I did there?) I was a bit disappointed she wasn't wearing gold or something. Why does all the villains have to wear black? Do they know we have color tv these days? A neat little invention.Weather Wizard should've worn something better too....
At least he turned away first, though he could have taken the two seconds to let the door get to the ground.Ah,the Weather Wizard. All that build up and he's locked away in record time.Barry's got to take it easy with the unmasking in front of villains in the pipeline.Hasn't he learned his lesson?

In fairness, Wells was being sincere last episode when he did phase Cisco's heart out... But I do know what you mean, and that was one of the highlights of the episode. It was really cool to see events unfold, similarly, but different.Wells convo with Cisco was eerie and heartwarming at the same time. You didn't know if he was being sincere or getting ready to thrust his hyperspeed hand though his chest again.
I kinda loved him calling himself out on that.Cisco thinking he was getting lucky was hilarious.Sorry Cisco, but you really should know better.

Lisa's weapon was both poor in concept and in execution. The design of her gun looked more like a over-the-top hair drier that i would see in an fancy hotel.lol
And if she could theoretically turn anything gold with that, then she's pretty much financially set for life since she should just be shooting that thing all over inanimate objects to make a fortune for herself.lol
Actually, that's something I quite liked the two 'vs. the mob' scenes. They showed that they are actually skilled beyond their guns, and it makes them out to be a threat beyond a couple of pieces of stolen tech. And I don't really mind Cold, Heatwave, or Lisa at all.
My only problem is that I have a hard time believing on how those three can come off as such a big threat.
I mean their guns are strong, but at the end of the day, they're just guns. There's no way that those three alone could take on a huge barrage of armed thugs on their own.
By all accounts, there's no way that Captain Cold and Heatwave should have been able to give Barry the trouble that they did in their last encounter with each other, given that Barry was neither injured and that there wasn't a cold field in usage at that time.
As flashy as it looks to see Barry take on those two, it doesn't make any sense for Barry to have problems in defeating those two. Captain Cold and Heatwave, as they stand now, are just two human beings with powerful guns of their own. If he can't beat in a flash, no pun intended, under those terms then that suggests that he's not capable of taking on average criminals at all.
can someone explain this time travel to me? if barry went back in time, shouldn't there be two barrys? the one who belongs there and the one who traveled back in time? the way they did it doesn't make any sense, how can anyone say they handled it well?
eh, I thought the episode was passable. It was certainly helped that I fast forwarded through the whole awkward love quadrangle stuff. I liked the rouges though the resolution was weak, though I do like the idea of a recurring villain like Captain Cold. As usual Reverse Flash is a badass. All in all not one of their stronger episodes, but I wouldn't call it the worst of the season.
I'd give it a B. I say if you don't like the writers increasingly desperate attempts at writing romance stuff, just skip forward through scenes. For the most part you can pretty much tell what's going on without them and the episode is alot stronger for it.
it was an okay episode!
that "your heart should ache for me!"line... OOOOH BROTHER!! i know people who have been together for 20 years and all they have is heart burn and not aching hearts!
I actually wonder if my high rating of this show is that I routinely skip through the love polygon and concentrate on the good stuff. I dunno, I still enjoy the vast majority of the show, and I quite liked Caitlin's resolution and Eddie being a sweetheart when he apologised, even if I largely skipped the setup.
