I love they have such a good handle on the CG now. No more goofy slo-mo shots of a completely CG Flash (in this episode at least)
Can someone tell me the name of the song during the bowling scene?

Wow this episode was just gaaaahhhhhh!
10/10 for me. The Flash continues to be one of the best shows on tv for me.
BUT i must admit I do echo other people's concerns about time travel. Im very iffy with time travel in general, it damn near almost ruined Superman:The Movie for me because it rendered the last half of that movie obsolete. So, I'm hoping the writers dony use it as a cheat and that the moments that occurred in this episode have a payoff.
I think Arrow really needs to step up its game next season. It's a great show but it's being completely blown out of the water by The Flash. And I think it starts with no more dark, brooding Oliver. That needs to be a lighthearted show where we literally have Green Arrow.
is called idol worship Never heard of it
What happens to Iris and Eddie next?
The idea of Wells wanting to make the Flash so he is able to travel back to his time is stupid. Why exactly does he want to kill child Barry?
Same.
I think everybody knows how I feel about the series by now, though, so I try not to articulate those feelings too often. I never want to be "that guy".
I didn't think either character came off as particularly likable. They both behaved inappropriately at the bowling alley and then straight up cheated on their significant others when they should've been trying to rescue Joe.
On a related note: Gustin and Patton have no romantic chemistry whatsoever. Watching them kiss is like watching paint dry.
And finally: did anyone else think it was weird that whoever wrote the episode decided to point out (more than once) that Barry and Iris are basically brother and sister? Their situation/history never bothered me until today.
The Weather Wizard was a pretty decent villain up until he tried to destroy the city (even while he was still, you know, in it). He had no legitimate motivation to do it.
The Thawne/Cisco scene was only as good as it was because of Cavanagh. I like Valdes as much as the next guy, but he certainly wasn't hired for his dramatic acting.
No it's called bad writing.
Could be because Barry Allen is Geoff Johns favorite superhero.I'm amazed at what great stuff they have done in only 15 episodes. They have managed to fit more mythology and characters development into 15 episodes then I've seen some shows fit into an entire series.
A theory: The Flash CW show has been showing us a rebooted timeline. The original timeline matches the comics. Barry Allen, a CSI, is struck by lightning and becomes The Flash. He fights villains...marries Iris...all the comic stuff happened.
Then in the future Eobard goes back in time to kill Barry but kills his mom instead. This creates a divergent timeline. Barry's dad is blamed and put in jail...Barry moves in with Joe and him and Iris become like brother and sister...Eobard is stuck in the past and needs Barry to become the Flash to generate the speed force...so he creates the particle accelerator and triggers the accident that created The Flash earlier than it was supposed to.
just my thoughts...
I feel like the biggest deviation for the comics is that Wells didn't kill to make Barry suffer. I think he wanted to kill Barry but saw that it would hurt his chances of returning back home.Well for sure we must be watching an alternate timeline, because Eobard has disturbed it.
I'm not sure why he'd originally want to kill Barry but I'm sure we'll find out.
