It's definitely Bates.

But it does seem it'll progress the [BLACKOUT]Barry/Caitlin[/BLACKOUT] storyline further.

In another world, this is what I would have considered to be my ideal version of what the "Iris" and Barry pairing should have looked like. :oldrazz:

It kind of takes away the shock value of seeing things like this and "Eddie" shooting cops when you know that...

There's going to be a Meta-Human who can impersonate anyone that he touches, along with how Caitlin is going to tie the knot with Ronnie soon.

But still, it's kind of funny to see on how it looks like Caitlin is reciprocating the kiss in that gif above.

Well, she is. They were going to be the beta couple. Ronnie was a last-minute addition at Geoff Johns' behalf.

Plus, [BLACKOUT]There are rumors Ronnie dies after the wedding by Zoom's hand.[/BLACKOUT]

Maybe RF will use some future technology to transplant Iris into Caitlin's body so that she becomes the comic Iris. :o

I would actually have preferred Panabaker as the character.

I hope Ralph Hemecker directs more episodes. He directed Tricksters and the Man in the Yellow Suit, two of the most stylish and visually interesting episodes to date.

I just binged on this show. Can I just say that it is both ridiculous and also great fun? I'm so happy to have a show that I want to watch on TV again!

So far, there is a lot more to like than to dislike on this show. -happy squees of happiness-

Ronnie dies at the hands of RF and Caitlin goes nuts and become Killer Frost?

I like Caitlin. I don't want her to be come Killer Frost yet. :cmad:

I prefer Caitlin to become the main love interest instead of Iris. It seems more organic while the other one seems forced.

That's because the writers have done a dreadful job with Iris. I don't think any of them know how to write romantic relationships. I feel bad, because I feel like Iris could be a great character.

And even though Barry is lovable, his obsession with Iris is grating and irritating at times. Not to mention it's a tad creepy.

The other problem is that they have allowed the male characters to run all over Iris. "Don't tell Iris this. We have to protect her. Keep her safe. Blah blah blah."

She's a grown woman, not a child. None of the men have any business trying to dictate what she can and should know for her safety. It would be one thing if Barry wanted to keep his identity secret because she blogs and he wants to maintain some privacy.

Yeah, they're not going to kill Firestorm. Especially since Stein is going to be in the spinoff, and if one dies the other does.

Hahahah I rarely read the Flash boards but like the show. I'm more of an Arrow fan personally. With that said, it looks like Flash is getting the Olicity treatment for next season. Some writers I think, right?

Firestorm no Ronnie yes in the comics Ronnie's dies and Jason becomes Firestorm with Martin and they already said there comparing Caitlin to Willow from Buffy give her everything then take it all away it starts her way to KF. But also someone reached out to Willow and help her threw her lose of her love that person might be Barry for Caitlin also something tells me this season will end with Flashpoint.

What if Flashpoint is what leads to Caitlin becoming Killer Frost? That instead of joining Team Flash, Caitlin somehow wound up turning into a metahuman and becoming a supervillain? All with only Barry having any memory of the good friend and teammate that she once was?

I think this carries the potential for interesting drama and has lots of room for backstory for Caitlin, filling in on the events that led to her change.

Bleh. I always preferred Ronnie Raymond to Rusch. Ronnie had the jock/bro personality and his dialogues with Stein would be hilarious.

There is nothing about Caitlin Snow and her relationship with Barry that makes me think they would be any good together. I don't see any sort of chemistry like that.

Agreed. I don't know what their goal is with all these love triangles and stuff.

I see Caitlin more as a female bro, Felicity would have been a perfect match, and the Iris obsession is bordering on being creepy, as someone pointed out.

Making a genuine attempt to move on, getting confused by mixed signals from Iris, getting told by Iris in one timeline she likes him too..... Creepy obsession, right.

No one's really at fault but since he genuinely loves her, and cannot help being around her (her Dad and Eddie) he's not doing too badly actually.
I'm harsh with Iris because I don't get any real warmth from her. But I liked her response to Barry in the changed timeline - pretty straightforward and fair actually.

That's not how it works. Both Ronnie and Stein were Firestorms on their own for a long stretch in the comics. Plus there's Jason Rusch.

I wonder if he has the innate ability to survive death like his cousin.

I'm hoping they continue to evolve the suit into something sleeker.
