The Flash General Discussion and Speculation Thread - Part 8

A couple more "Can I talk to you Barry..." Iris moments when she thinks he's being silly (or whatever) in the group, and I'm done with the show.

Right or wrong, fair/unfair, I don't care; I can't stand Iris.

 

So let me see if I understand this correctly. As a result of Barry's actions of creating the "Flashpoint" timeline, he's now indirectly responsible for things like...


1. Dante being dead in the new timeline.

2. A normal man going crazy and becoming the Rival before getting killed off in Prison.

3. Sara Lance being John Diggle Jr.

4. Caitlin Snow having meta-powers and potentially becoming a villain.

5. The Reverse Flash now (somehow) being back in existence and creating trouble for all of time itself as shown in "Legends".

 

Wait say what? it's more like get the kid that was diggles daughter that was named after sara lance not to exist in the main time line . she still exists just not in this reality . Yo, yeah I agree it's terrible. I have feeling baby Sara Diggle will come from that other reality to kick barry's butt.

which she should. if she ever finds out. And I'm gonna enjoy it.

 

The only one with a costume I like more is Zoom.

 

Wally and what's his name from 3x01 had horrible costumes.

 

Rival has a cool costume.

 

I don't see it, it looks cheap as hell, especially the mask, though it is understandable that they can't really pull that kind of masks off without using at least some cgi to make them really threatening - at least I find masks that are designed like that look generally more silly and funny than what they actually go for with them.

 

Rival's look was cheap as hell.

 

Doesn't look that cheap to me.

 

Nothing like being given a costume that was based off of the person that held you hostage a year ago and nearly killed you by injecting you with some velocity serum.

 

That injection could be possible added reason to why Jesse is quick and Wally isn't.

The rating and viewership for last night's episode is 1.0 and 2.63 million viewers.

 

Not just you. Barry needs a costume upgrade asap.

 

I still like Barry's suit. It could use a little upgrade, but it's still cool.

Now Jessie Quick's... that's nice!! And yes, maybe more for the woman in it...t: As for copying the previous suit, it's a shame they didn't make an entirely new suit for her, but it is a nice one. I wouldn't complain about it.

Except for the mask. What is this love for sticky masks? The last thing she needs is to fear her mask either just falling off or someone just flicking it off!

Do it like Olliver's and have it simply wrap around her head. Don't try and be too cute about it!

THE FLASH FAMILY

 

Havent seen the episode and I realize that there is no Johnny Quick to get styling cues [or an emblem] from, but I find the inclusion of that particular emblem is a bit strange. I mean, to me that says 'Lady Flash' more than Jesse Quick.
Nice looking costume though, just missing that small jacket she wore in the 90's when she wore the Flash suit

 

Yeah, she does look more like Lady Flash than Jesse Quick.

As for Kid Flash, doesn't the yellow part of the costume remind Barry of Reverse Flash? Why would Kid Flash wear that colour? He could go for any other colours than yellow or black.

 

Hopefully by next season we get a big "Flash family" episode.

 

We better have a Flash family event episode with Jay, Jesse & Wally

 

Don't forget, in this series the origin of Kid Flash is in a universe that had no Reverse Flash. So the yellow is more Kid Flash rather than RF.

 

We don't seem to have any big, overarching mystery this season yet.
