the production values look fantastic. Finally we have reached the point where we can get REAL superheroes on TV, not pseudo-heroes like we saw in Smallville (particularly the earlier season).

I remember watching this episode of Smallville and being flawed by it. I think the special FX still hold up to some extent, the final race between Bart and Clark had me like

SO glad we have an updated, costumed version of The Flash now. This series is going to be worth it alone for the incredible .gifs we'll get!

The best part of that gif is it shows how damn fast Bart was, Clark's face after he zooms off is priceless.

I was watching a review of the trailer and they brought up something I hadn't read or heard anyone else mention in relation to the particle accelerator accident. The Harrison wells character list a bunch of stuff that was released. The two particles he mentioned that raised eyebrows were antimatter which could be a reference to the antimonitor. The other is x particles used by the new gods for boomtube travel.

I hope this show has some great humor and lightheartedness to it. The one thing I hate most in TV shows is that melodramatic CW BS. Arrow has it in droves and i can't stand watching it sometimes.

I hope there is humor, some appropriate camp involved and legitimate acting in The Flash. I don't want another CW Hero like the "Arrow".

Ive got my fingers crossed here. The ONLY episodes of Arrow i loved were the few with Barry Allen. His origin was pitch perfect, and GG sold me right away. He brought something fresh to the show, and DIDNT over act...my god, I can't stand the females on Arrow. The only decent actor on that show is Diggle.

I can't wait to see Zoom. I actually hope that his costume isn't like Flash's. Since he's from the future, the material used for his costume should be completely different. I really hope that they'll manage to stay closer to the comics with his costume.

That scene in the trailer really reminded me of the climax of the last episode of Young Justice with Barry, wally and kid flash.

Coincidently it was that series which made me a fan of the character and realise just how awesome his power is.

I really hope Wally West gets introduced eventually. I'm fine with the race change, I just hope that his backstory is more in line with how it has been pre New 52.

I'm not a fan of this new 52 Wally West so far. It honestly seems kinda racist and stereotypical so far.... They were trying to be progressive, but ended up just holding black superheroes back even more :/

Hopefully as his storyline progresses he becomes less like a stereotypical troubled black youth. So disappointing.

Man the triler for the pilot looks amazing! Really excited about this one. I think the DC/CW universe is the way to go for tv and this looks like the start of something special

Looks like there a good chance Zoom won't be from the future, at least not the 25th century. Dissapointing but it makes sense. Developing a character that's separated from the main cast by a few hundred years would be difficult. Plenty of people are still confused by Lost. And that had a much bigger budget than Flash will likely have. Actually, the two timelines in Arrow probably drain resources as well. My guess is Zoom we'll probably share more history with Hunter Zolomon than his actual comic counter part.
