Great episode Mark Hamil was pretty awesome he had some great lines that were right up his alley. I really miss him as the voice of the Joker. Seeing the Thawne backstory was pretty good and boy ohh boy is Barry going to regret revealing himself to Eddie. He just doesn't know it yet.

Great Episode. WOW.

But anyone else notice when Joe was telling Barry that the Tricksters have taken his dad, he actually says Barry's name and that they've taken his dad while Singh was right next to him and even looked at him.

Yeah, it was a bit weird. But only the audience knew that Barry was in the Flash costume so Singh probally just thought that Barry called Joe with the situation.

I just noticed that the costume that Barry had on during his fight with Thawne in the past had the white emblem.

I wonder though, based on his comments, does this mean that in the "original timeline", Barry had originally received his powers in 2020 as opposed to 2013?

The CGI models though, for the brawl between Reverse Flash and Flash were kind of sketchy though; on the same level as the one used with the super sonic punch that Barry had used earlier in the season.

And I wish that they would stop portraying Iris as such a...well, bluntly speaking, "loose" woman. It's so weird; she can't seem to make up her mind at all when it comes to her characterization. If my memory served me correct, didn't she pretty much tell the Flash to eff off in "Flash vs Arrow"? And how she wanted nothing to do with him? Now she's all needy and flirty with him?

Overall another great episode, much more-so than last weeks. (Granted it was good but this one topped it by a long-stretch)

We learned about the real Dr. Wells whose face was stolen by the real Eobard Thawne.
That was really well-done yet creepy at the same time. We also saw a close-up of Barry's uniform from the future via the flashback (with the white background for the lightning bolt logo on his chest) to the night his mom was killed by Eobard.

Mark Hamill did not disappoint. He had some great lines including "I am your father" to the young Trickster, Axel, LOLs. He did a phenomenal job playing the original Trickster once again and I hope to see him again. He was superb, albeit a little corny but that's the character I suppose.

Barry learned how to phase (vibrate) through solid objects so he could remove the wrist bomb. (Justice League: Doom reference) and Eobard Thawne / Wells helped him with that which made Bary realize that he's the Reverse Flash.

The moment when Barry unmasked in front of his dad was priceless. (after he saved him from the Trickster's trap, of course) It was completely unexpected but was a great moment.

The only bit I didn't like was when Barry unmasked himself in front of Eddie. Not sure why he did (he said he needed help) but still, it was unnecessary, if you ask me. So the only regular cast member who doesn't know is Iris. Weird. Anyway, I give this weeks episode a solid 9. Can't wait for the next one All-Star Team-up in 2 weeks.

Ugh, more breaks when it's getting really good.

The real Eobard Thawne looks a lot like the comics. I had a feeling the twist with Dr Wells would involve identity theft.

I didn't expect Barry to reveal his identity to two people - his dad and Eddie Thawne.

Dr Wells, Cisqo, and Caitlin didn't do much as they stayed in Star Labs the while episode.

Mark Hamill killed it as the Trickster and quite a reunion with John Wesley Shipp.

The actor playing the real Thawne has said that he'll be back later in the season. Is it possible that he'll be the Reverese Flash actor for this series going forward?

Or Forward Flashbacks. Flashforwards. Flashalternateforwards. You know what I mean.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the "original" Eobard Thawne:

And ironically enough, he was the thorn at another masked hero's side....

Dat Flash vs Reverse Flash fight in the Allen's house tho.:hubba

Well, at least with the reveal of Thawne's real face, we can finally see a better resemblance between him and Eddie.

I can see the real Eobard Thawne being used for the rest of the series since his goal is to return back to his future time.

They did kill off a lot of characters but if Barry actually changes the past like they've been hinting it will change a lot of stuff, it has the potential to save Harrison and Tess from dying, and all of those villains too, so we'll just have to see how the season ends I guess

But if what Thawne said is true, time traveling as a way of correcting things for any lives that are saved, others will die or be harmed in their places.

I wonder if they'll split Harrison and Eobard, so we can have both.

There probably isn't anything to split since Thawne only absorbed parts of Well's body & not the whole thing so Well's has pretty much been dead since his encounter with Thawne.

after last week debacle episode this was back up to speed( hehe no pun intended!)
Hahahahah freaking dug Mark's "I am your Father!" that was great!!
and telling Iris he spent the last 20 years in prison with her in that red dress(she was banging in that outfit!)
loved Barry showing his face to his dad That was hella Cool!
but showing his face to eddie was a a really BAD MOVE!!
oh and yeah!the REAL Eobard Thawne is one nasty, sinster ass Mother%^&*!!that dude is going to be TROUBLEEEEE!!

This week's episode was a return to form after last week's disappointment. Favorite line by far was Hamill's "I....am your father!" (who didn't see that one coming?) and the best name-drop was the mention of the speed-force. It was great seeing the original Trickster costume on that dummy too.

So many comic-book and sci-fi nerdgasms in this episode it was nuts!

Fantastic episode Mark Hamill did a great performance of the trickster. Had that Joker in him still

But if what Thawne said is true, time traveling as a way of correcting things for any lives that are saved, others will die or be harmed in their places.

he probably just said that to keep Barry from messing up his plans. He has no qualms about changing history.
