Glad they are finally dealing with the villains they have locked up. Ferris Air reference. Loved that Snart called Barry the Scarlet Speedster. It sounded like the Foreigner song "Cold As Ice" was playing in the bar during that scene which made me laugh. Nice reference to a Ferris Air test pilot disappearing. Great performance from Wentworth Miller during the double-cross scene. Good set up for the Rogue's team later. Nice having Ollie and Firestorm show up and I loved seeing the Reverse Flash costume come out of the ring like in the comics. Firestorm looks great in action I just wish he did more than throw fire. Ollie lives to be 86. Looking forward to the finale next week.

Did this feel kinda like a finale to anyone else?

Then maybe this episode should've aired before last week's Arrow? It is strange that Flash's finale is next week while Arrow's tomorrow.

Arrow aired one week when Flash didn't and screwed up the timeline.

This episode was AWSOME I can't believe that Barry trusted captain cold move all the metahumans to a different location. I love flash and the reverse flash fighting each other. On the season finale I hope they go out with a bang.

Was a good episode. Really enjoyed the action. The Rogue sub-plot was alright. While the fight with Wells was awesome I was kind disappointing. I know they're most likely doing something with him next week during the finale but I felt a little robbed that he was taken down easily. That and the whole thing with the accelerator never coming to a full end felt weird. Great last couple of minutes though and am excited for how they end the season.
Overall I'd give the episode an 8/10

Sad that Firestorm was completely useless during the battle.

Yep. It really felt as though they went all out with the fights and budget in this episode. A few parts irritated me:

Did they ever say why the rogues couldn't just be drugged as they were transported to the plane? That seemed like an obvious solution to their problem.

Firestorm and Arrow ditching Barry without first ascertaining whether the Reverse Flash was dead, unconscious, or merely feigning was also irritating.

How did Cisco know that the cylinder would finish charging in 36 hours if it was some sort of incomprehensible future tech?

That being said, I did enjoy how the characters finally acknowledged how awful the black site prison was. Barry's concern for the prisoners' well-beings did much to redeem him.

Arrow is a week ahead of the flash. This episode should have been after episode 21 of Arrow, When Oliver was in Starling City.

Kinda, but the ending felt a little rushed. It was a weird commerical break, but I fel like that fight should've been a few minutes longer because it felt like a glorified cameo by the Amell cousins.

As for the timeline, I think we can assume Oliver asks Barry to save his friends. That's the favor and the reason why Barry returns tomorrow. I just don't know how he managed to get away from Nanda Parbat during this time.

Yeah, it felt like they could've coordinated their attack a bit better. Instead they went after him one at a time and Firestorm just got whacked.

Cisco was talking about how long it would take the particle accelerator to fully come back on.

I cant wait for next week.

I am guessing Barry messes up the future somehow in the finale making Rip Hunter appear which leads to Legend of Tomorrow.

Cisco was talking about how long it would take the particle accelerator to fully come back on.

But it was the cylinder that was going to make the PA come back on, right? So how did Cisco know how long it would take?

This episode took place when Oliver was in Starling City.

And we saw him get smoked but muscle guy disappeared as soon as we cut to everyone waking up.

Because it was slowly coming back on. And he just calculated how long it would take to finish.

Good episode. They started out great. Loved the fight. We haven't seen the last of Eobard.

Oliver literally made Barry, Firestorm, and Thawne look like amateurs in that fight. :wow:

What really got me is Thawne thinking he had any chance whatsoever against Oliver in hand to hand combat without his speed. :hehe:

He took a very enthusiastic walk.

Great episode. Especially loved the non-namedrop Hal Jordan namedrop.

So ... Oliver basically has a way to stop Barry from speeding ..... sounds very familiar.

Great episode. I loved the little [BLACKOUT]Green Lantern reference[/BLACKOUT], and while I didn't expect [BLACKOUT]them to actually beat the Reverse-Flash[/BLACKOUT], it was still a very cool fight. I wish Ray/ATOM would've shown up, though. Overall, I'm very excited for the finale, and I hope that Barry does more than just [BLACKOUT]free Team Arrow[/BLACKOUT] tomorrow.

Though, while typing that, I just realized why Ray couldn't show up.
