I don't see him just saving his mom and everything is right in the world. Somehow Henry is getting killed or Eddie is going to do something wild.

Wells/Thawne did warn him that when things in the past are changed, bad things happen.

Andrew made mention of the finale having a lot more questions than answers. A lot of editing could mean something else in the promo. It's going to be interesting.

I loved Flashpoint as much as they next guy, but it feels too early to go down that road completely. That should be like an epic Season 3 mid-season game changer or something.

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this, but there's a shot of the Flash inside his house where he has the white logo on his chest. I'm wondering if we'll learn about what happened to "Future Barry" on the night of his mom's death.

barry saves his mom and is erased from exsistance and barry in season 2 will be one where his mother was never killed by reverse flash.perhapes just like cisco has flashes of when reverse flash killed him before barry changed history barry in season 2 will have flashes of season 1

finale may also be setting up spin-off.I always thought a variation of flashpoint is coming since spin-off has Stein without ronnie and I always thought caity Lotz is on it as sarah somehow revising her death on arrow.

I'm glad they're doing a spin off and I'd be happy with Flashpoint. However what I really want more than anything is an emotional fun finale. With a happy ending, even if it is bittersweet.

Yes, there needs to be questions and interest in S2 and the spin off. But at the same point I want a proper end to this arc and emotional scenes with Joe, and his mom and his dad and the team bonding etc etc. Plus, if I'm honest, I want him and the STAR labs team to beat Wells.

I hope they don't sell out the finale for their spin off, or get too clever. This is a Good vs Evil storyline, and Good should always win the first act. Let Harrison achieve a victory like Merlyn did when he levelled some of the Glades, let him get another particle accelarator off or whatever, fine. But let Barry win this one.

Yeah. Plus I don't really see how it would work without WW and AM. It would truly be an entirely different story. Oliver (or his dad in this case I guess) could play the role of Batman in that story easily enough though.

Well, it would definitely be a version Flashpoint with a smaller scale and scope. It will likely only loosely follow the comic's storyline.

They may being only doing something loosly based on flashpoint which TV version is largely showing ramifactions of barry saving his mother.

This allowes them to have real wells on show next season.
