I didn't care for the Barry and Iris stuff, but I did liked Kid Flash, Rival, the real Reverse Flash, and this alternate version of Cisqo Ramon. Not a strong start to this season.

I thought the episode was alright. I was a little underwhelmed I guess. Not because I was expecting anything like the comic, but the whole Barry/Iris angle was a bit forced and that's something I usually don't have a problem with.

I thought RF and KF were great though. And the ending has me intrigued for next week. Looking forward to seeing the new changes in this timeline.

It was an okay start to the season. Still interested in seeing how they wrap this all up.

I'm glad it was revealed that Iris and Joe are no longer speaking. I was about to be pissed that last season's cliffhanger was resolved so easily.

Question: why wasn't it "Harrison Wells" who killed Barry's mom? When did he get replaced by this new guy?

It's always been Eobard Thawne who killed Barry's mom. He took on Wells' identity after that occurred.

Well that ended really quick. I was expecting at least a couple of EPs before everything was - somewhat - reset.

It was a really good episode - up until the last ten minutes or so.

So, basically, Barry gave up both of his parents for Wally and to save his faltering memory and powers...

And was relieved about getting back as though something really terrible had happened...

I want to like it, but it seemed to be too little reason for giving up his parents all over again.

He ends up treating it as a 'snap-shot' of life with his parents and a way to say goodbye.

Which in a way, I could see, but only if it hadn't wrapped up so quickly.

Wells was never Reverse Flash in this timeline

So
Zoom ended up killing Iris or is she still alive?

Still alive. They just said her and Joe weren't speaking.

Yeah, but we have to keep in mind that Flashpoint really lasted for 3 months.

True, but I think that's just more of a reason to choose his parents over Wally. Spending more time with them means being more invested with them.

Wrapping it up so fast just makes it seem too weird, too quick and too easy.

Summed up my thoughts perfectly.

It started strong. I'm actually alright with Barry and Iris.

Back in season one it was revealed that Harrison Wells is actually dead and Eobard Thawne did some Fringe style shape shifting and took his identity. Barry stopping the Reverse Flash from killing his mom means that Eobard also never kills Harrison Wells.

^which brings up a good question, where was the real Harrison Wells in this new timeline?

Eobard did say that in his timeline the particle accelerator explosion still happens but just later. Which would make you thing that Wells would still have a prominent position in Star Labs at Central City because there was no interference from Eobard.

Part of the problem with the Kid Flash costume (besides the material) is that it leaves Wally with no neck.

It sucks that Cisco and Joe basically got a personality transplant while all Caitlin got was a downgrade in work. Why not make her into a cold heartless witch?

The premiere would've been stronger if it was 2hrs instead of rushing through flashpoint.

Did anyone notice that the chief of CCPD in Flashpoint is none other than Alex Désert as Julio Mendez?

Lmao I noticed that today too I kinda wish Lansdale had a fro though I miss wallys big bushy hair as KF. The episode would have been better as a 2 or 3 parter. I liked rival more than expected an there was some nice action bits

The Rival wasn't nearly as threatening as Reverse Flash or Zoom!

He was basically a knockoff throwaway villain of the week.

his double twister was more like the Weather Wizard from the pilot.

I was disappointed at how easily Wally got beat by him.

This episode did prove that it is time to move on from SPeedsters being the big bads, even for an episode. It is just so played out, they need to start challenging Barry in new ways.

I didn't know who the actor or the character were until I looked them up, but it doesn't surprise me at all that they brought in another Earth-1 version of a character from the "90s!Flash" universe since they've established that the 90s series exists as part of the broader Arrowverse and that there are doppelgangers of characters spread throughout the different worlds of the franchise's internal Multiverse.

I love this Reverse Flash. He's really fun
see , the ihing is they have all talented actors and atress's they can get they just have to give them a good plot and script and they'll knock it out of the park. tom C was awesome reverse flash and I had a feeling lector could do the same with a good script as the writers just to give him so he can perform, it's always been script and writing. the actors are fine and they just doing what they are told . you can always tell if it's the script of the actors ain inthe flash it's the scripts. (for now any way) just give them a good one Script wise )thing will be fine .

oh and I hope Barry actually learn from this about messing with time . he's lucky wally didn't says iris is dead after joe stormed off when he heard his daughters name. lol what would be worse hearing Cisco and Kaitlyne died with her too . Then he'd really be blaming him self with what did I do?

stop messing with thing's via time travel, Barry and don't use magic ether. you won't like the consequence's

I guess once Cisco got rich he just bought the building and kicked Well's out/ or gave him enough money to go do something else

I noticed. From Boy Meets World and as a fan of ska like myself especially 90's ska recognized him right away, lead singer of Hepcat :word:

Yeah Speedsters now should be far and few between. Let's get into some of the other villains. Hopefully they continue that way.
